He is a compassionate man, and very well trained and educated. In fact, when my two sons aged out of their pediatrician I encourage them to establish a relationship with Dr. Tam I think that says it all... when a mother puts her children's care in the hands of a doctor it means something. My children are away at school but try to hold medical appointments until they are home or schedule telemedicine appointments. I also encouraged my fiancé to see Dr. Tam.”

I came in with a hip injury and, after seeing that I could not get out of the wheelchair to put weight on my foot, the doctor kindly gave me a Toradol shot and then called ahead to the Stanford ER so I could get treatment there and not be in as much pain. The medical assistant was also so kind and accommodating. It turned out that I had torn three tendons in my hip and had I not gone to the Urgent Care first, I would have been waiting in the ER waiting room without pain meds for hours.”
