“Grand Leader is something to look forward to! Prices are fantastic, and the quality and ratios are unmatched. The bread is always fantastic and fresh. Here, I’ve included a picture of what I get when I go during a morning: roast beef on Dutch with avocado, Asiago cheese, and an egg. People call me crazy, but this combination is out of this world! When you come here, you get a sandwich the way you want it.Also, for vegetarians, the veggie sandwich was my go-to for years. It is perfect.
Vegetarian options: The veggie sandwich is fantastic. And if you go before lunch, you can add egg to it for additional protein. So good.”

“2nd experience here and again, excellent food and service. I had lamb and my wife had scallops. Both perfectly cooked. Service was very attentive and helpful. All 5 stars except 4 for value. I will add though that prices are reasonably on par for same food in the Bay area. Parking in the back was easy. Definitely will go here again.”

“I come here from time to time to get some good bbq. The tri-tip and brisket are smoked to perfection. The portions are hefty and can be shared. They have a great wine selection and a large variety of spirits tequila in particular. I highly recommend a visit to this local market.”

“A great Ross location I'm Foster City near VISA headquarters, easy accessible via HWY-92 & 101. As it was the Thanksgiving week, it was somewhat more crowded than usual. They got so much more stuffs than the one in South Bay, I got lucky as I came up to see have my annual physicals at the San Mateo Medical Center. I was able to pick up an enameled cast iron Dutch oven, and a couple of loose stretchable knit shirts. Happy Camper?”
“This place is great! The staff are super friendly, and the wines are incredible. The tastings always showcase something unique and I always learn something new. One staff member (Kyle) even sent me a list of resources for wine education, which I’ve since found invaluable. Whether you are looking for a specific wine or just want to expand your palette and do some tasting, I can’t recommend this place enough.”
“This store is not only the BEST liquor store around, but they also have the most kind and customer-centric staff I've found. I did a super late night Door Dash order from them that was delayed by over an hour, and the store sent me some Doritos as a token of appreciation! It's by no means their fault as Door Dash had failed to assign a driver on time, but in my opinion, a small detail like that just really warms my heart and I feel so appreciated. “I was in town for the weekend and this place was a few blocks from where I'm staying. I'm a whiskey guy so I decided to swing in and take a look at their wares. The prices were great, even considering the explosion in bourbon popularity the last several years. There was a young man - I didn't catch his name; medium build, hat, beard - who was very helpful and helped me look over the whiskeys that aren't distributed to my home state. I ended up getting a bottle of Willett 4yr Rye which he recommended.
Overall, great customer service, great prices, and great selection of bourbons. Would very much recommend.”

“Des absolutely crushed it! She went to the furthest length to provide the best service possible! She greeted us with a very friendly and energetic energy! She asked us if we were looking for anything in particular, and we told her that we were looking for the Jaws wine. She went around the store and collected all 3 bottles for my friend and I! Her service was absolutely incredible!”
“As someone who lives in the neighboring trailer park, this place is exactly what we needed!! There's no other store close to the parks, or at least within waking distance. They have a huge selection of everyday household items and food. We are a family of 4 and it has been incredibly convenient to run down the street rather than all the way down Woodside road. The prices are a little higher than other places but I'll pay it so I don't have to drive further. The customer service is fantastic too!!”

“I decided to visit this location for the first time yesterday since Whole Foods is nearby. The location was a bit hard to get to because from where I was going, you needed to turn left onto Hillsdale court rather than Hillsdale Blvd. At the store, the clerks were very helpful and friendly. One lady told me what the store's favorites are from their recent tasting as well as the customer favorites. One of the recommendations was spot on. I had a few bottles in mind coming in and checked all the bottles on the Vivino app and was able to narrow down on some bottles. Great store and friendly staff!”

“I made a special trip to Vineyard Gate and I left with several bottles of wine and sake. This bottle shop made me feel like a kid in a candy store. I found a sake I haven't seen since a trip to Kyoto in 2019! I was super excited to encounter it again. The curated wine selection is also very good and i found bottles here that I haven't seen anywhere else--including San Francisco and Oakland. Alex, the owner, is very amiable, knowledgeable and hospitable. He also spins some good jazz records too!”
