Pacific Sales is truly one of Southern California's hidden gems. Many people don't realize it's part of the Best Buy family, but it's an experience unlike any other home improvement or appliance store.
One thing I've learned is that Pacific Sales has two types of locations: SAS (Stand-Alone Store) and SWAS (Store Within a Store). I don't think enough customers know this...and they absolutely should!
The stand-alone locations are something special. They aren't your typical big-box appliance stores. Instead, they offer everything from entry-level to luxury appliances, premium plumbing fixtures, high-end outdoor patio furniture, and products you simply won't find at stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. Whether you're remodeling a bathroom, upgrading your kitchen, or just looking for inspiration, this place is incredible. Honestly, it's like an adult toy store for home remodeling enthusiasts!
I've worked in retail for many years, and I can honestly say the PAC Family culture is different. The employees genuinely make you feel like family. They greet you with a smile, learn your name, listen to what you need, and guide you without making you feel pressured. In today's retail world, that's becoming rare, and it makes a huge difference.
I've always wanted to visit the Irvine location because it's one of the largest Pacific Sales stores in Southern California. Let me tell you! IT was absolutely worth the drive!
My family and I were looking for a genuine OEM Toto toilet fill valve. We specifically wanted the original part, not a universal aftermarket replacement. The plumbing department had exactly what we needed in stock, which is another reason these stores are so valuable. They carry many of the specialty parts contractors and homeowners actually need. We installed it the same day, and it worked perfectly!
A huge thank you to Jackie and Bobby for helping us find exactly what we needed. Their kindness and genuine enthusiasm made our visit memorable. It's refreshing to walk into a store where people sincerely thank you for stopping by and make you feel appreciated.

“I was in my way to check out a new clothes washer at a competitor when I saw this place.
I went in and in less than ten minutes they offered me a similar item at a better overall price that was not only in stock but could be delivered the next day. The best Best Buy was offering was three days maybe on delivery and Home Depot was quoted two weeks.
Installation went well we’re at me home by 830 out by 9 am.

“We purchased several items to remodel our bathroom. Ferguson had good prices and were very helpful. Alex G worked with us on our order and he provided excellent customer service by keeping us informed of when items came in for pickup and followed up with the supplier when they were slow shipping items or shipped the wrong item. He promised us that all items would be ready by the time our contractor started work on the remodel and he delivered on this promise. When we remodel our kitchen, we will again order our plumbing parts from Ferguson.”

I want to personally thank you for over delivering on customer service. My husband does extensive research before purchasing anything. After completing his research, he chose Home Depot to purchase a weed eater, only to be told that the model he wanted was out of stock.
After speaking with Melissa for a few minutes, my husband walked away, assuming that was the end of it. Moments later, Melissa came running to let him know she had found exactly what he was looking for in the back, a Ryobi 40 Volt weed eater that came with a battery and charger for the same price I would have paid for one from eBay and the swap meet at Orange Coast College. I'm glad I bought it from Home Depot because it comes with a 3 year warranty.
Sometimes, the small things that mean the most to customers go unnoticed. I want you to know that your service was truly meaningful to my husband. Those extra efforts, going out of your way without being asked, make a lasting impact.

“I must say I am very pleased with the customer service in this store. I arrived to purchase a chest freezer and had a product description in hand of a freezer that was in stock, but not quite the size I needed.
The gentleman that helped me in the appliance section actually found me the perfect size chest freezer and the bonus was that it was actually much cheaper than the original freezer I had been looking at.

I've only seen him in the customer service department. But anyways, I've been to this location twice recently and he is the only one who left a lasting impression/made me compelled enough to write this review (besides this other woman who assisted me during one of the kids workshop days). He has always provided excellent customer care in every way from his level of politeness, attentiveness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond in all that he does. This man definitely shows he loves his job and really cares about customer satisfaction. I honestly think this store would do so much better if he was slated to become a manager someday. Everyone else seems to keep to themselves or just stand there. He's the only one who acknowledges those who enter the store, says hi to people, and ask if they need any help no matter what time of day he is working.
