About Mekong Supermarket (formerly Sunrise Supermarket)
Sunrise Supermarket is a moderately sized grocery store that offers a variety of ingredients mainly for Vietnamese and Asian cooking. The store is clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff who are helpful and willing to assist customers. It features a good selection of fruits, vegetables, and seafood, including fresh fish that can be cleaned and weighed on-site. Customers can find unique produce and specific ingredients not always available at standard supermarkets, making it a good choice for those looking for specialty items. The market also has a variety of snacks, ramen, and vegetables, including options like garlic-flavored corn nuts. Fish and seafood prices are reasonable, and customers can even have their fish deep fried at the butcher counter to save cooking time. The store has plenty of parking and offers quick, easy checkout, including credit card payments. While some sections, like the freezer area, could use better housekeeping, overall, Sunrise Supermarket provides a friendly shopping environment with everything needed for a Vietnamese meal, such as pho. It is a convenient, accessible place for shoppers seeking fresh seafood, unique produce, and Asian groceries close to home.
They don’t have soursop 😔 but they do have durian 😍 so that’s good. It’s a smaller store but kept clean.

Just visited this market for the first time since we were on search of kefir lime! This market is small but has all the basics of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. There is a bit of a raw fish smell when you enter the produce section, but not in other parts of the store. I’ll come back again for sure.
