Learned something yesterday: having the word 'Sunrise' in the name of a market or restaurant doesn't mean it's Filipino. We needed to pick up some lumpia wrappers for a Christmas Party, and instead of stopping by our regular place, we wanted to stop by someplace on the way home from Santa Ana with easy access to the highway. Searching for Filipino groceries, Sunrise Supermarket came up so redirected our GPS there. There was plenty of space in the large parking lot. But as soon as we saw the large sign, I realized it was a Vietnamese grocery store (which makes a lot of sense considering where we were). It's not a particularly large store, but is stocked with all the essentials. There is a lot of whole fish being displayed in open displays, so wouldn't be the place to go for folks that can't stand the smell of fish. We were able to find a Vietnamese brand that could stand in as Lumpia wrappers, and picked up a lot of other snacks and vegetables since we were here, including garlic flavor corn nuts (which my wife said she likes...who knew?). It was easy to checkout (they take credit cards) and quick. Ended up being a productive stop. I know the first sentence of my review is silly, but honestly that's the way I was thinking.

Delighted to see that there is one closer to my house. Clean, friendly and have everything that I would need to make a Vietnamese meal (hint: pho)

Great friendly service and clean supermarket. Was looking for something they were out of and gentleman helped me look for it and went out of his way to get me an answer on when it would be available. Would definitely return when in the area.

Right by Tesla supercharger. You can charge your Tesla and shop. There's plenty of parking in front as well.

What I like about this place is that you can get fruits and vegetables that you can't find at your standard grocery store. Prices are good for vegetables and seafood. In fact, you can get your fish deep fried at the butcher counter, and save yourself some cooking time. Also a great selection of Korean and Vietnamese ramens for those that like to live life spicy. Downside, some housekeeping for the freezer section needed.

Although I don't consider myself a squatter and if I had to pay rent I'm sure I would pay it on time but people of yelp let me ask you where can you find the best price and best quality on tiger shrimp.....salmon....pork belly....new York steak....people......the quality of veggies here is way above the standard......this store has it all ..... period....rice noodles.....rice.....farm fresh eggs.....fish....meat....all on a dime....so before you get evicted wake up early for once and head over to sunrise and make a last supper in your unpaid furnishings.......

I only shop at Sunrise Market (weekly) it's convenient clean organized plenty of parking space and friendly staff . They carry fresh produce / meat / seafood and lots of dry goods at a very reasonable price point similar to other markets near by. This is my go to market since they opened. I will continue to support this establishment .

Stopped by today stock up on supply for the storm. I have to said this store is very clean. Great friendly service that you do not get from other Asian supermarket. The items I purchased were actually cheaper than other supermarket.

Overall: Stop to get whatever you need in hurry but not for every weekend for shopping.

One of the few places that carry the party size Chấm medium spicy dipping sauce for my salad. That stuff is addictive.

Never been here before and a little creepy cuz I'm here on a Saturday and there is only one more customer in the entire store. OK, maybe two more. I only needed a few things, but overall, the prices are high, compared to other Vietnamese stores. Parts of the store look like a warehouse as the boxes are just opened. I found a lot of things with no price, but staple items like coconut milk were $1 higher than elsewhere. There's a butcher, a take out and produce, and a bunch of noodles yet they only have a few brands of rice. Not sure how long this store has been here, but it needs more foot traffic...
