Don't recommend this place to go for your first time trying aeriel silks. They are clicks and do ignore you. The instructor said warm up whatever you want to like we were expected to know already. There were more advanced people there as well so focusing on first timers was very limited without giving many options of how to do what she is asking us to do. It hurts your foot and I had bruises between my thighs a couple days after. Those things weren't explained, like tell us upfront it's supposed to hurt your foot in the beginning. I thought I was doing it wrong. Anyway I don't recommend this place. But that's my opinion.

I hosted a private party for pole dancing for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing!! Me and all the girls loved every second of it. Erika was absolutely kind and welcoming and even provided a little table for our snacks and goodies. The studio is lovely and we all had so much fun. Some of us had a few pole class experiences and most of the girls had never touched a pole. The class was perfect for all of us! So fun and accessible to all of us. Thank you!!

Really cool people here. Prices are high but it’s worth it for the kind staff.

Loved my experience with Erika! Supportive teaching, not condescending and I did not worry if I was good, I just kept trying.

I've had 2 classes here already and this is where I tried aerial silk for the first time ever. 1st time was a group intro/basics class, went with a friend, both of us did not know ANYTHING lol when we walked in. Our instructor Annie was really patient and supportive, so were the other students. We left the studio feeling so content after. I'm actually a pretty shy person but I really really loved the concept of aerial silk & how it made my body feel when I did it, even though I was SO bad at it, it was very rewarding when I could do some poses with the instructor's help. 2nd time, I decided to pay more to have a private class with Veronica, I felt so much more confident because I had that one-on-one coaching, which I'm used to when learning new things, and I was less shy to ask questions. My boyfriend came to just sit and watch for moral support and he was even telling me that the aura was really nice in the studio because everybody's clapping and supporting you.

More expensive than other studios in the area but worth the price. The instructors at this studio are not only incredible artists, but know how to teach and modify instruction for a wide range of skill level. The vibe of the studio is always so positive - students cheer each other on and instructors notice and acknowledge progress. Unlike other studios, I have never had to share my apparatus with other students during class.

All the teachers at Urban Aerial Fitness (UAF) are super friendly and encouraging. The community at UAF is really great and everyone is super supportive of everyone's aerial journeys. The semiannual showcases at UAF are a great opportunity for kids and adults to show off their skills and get some aerial photos and videos.

I've been coming here for over a year now after waiting a few years with an injury That Drs told me to not ever lift anything beyond my chest with.. I was hooked from day one- I now train 2-3 days a week here in silks and Lyra and will be doing my second showcase with my Lyra partner this weekend. My level of strength has grown leaps and bounds since coming here along with my confidence. Aerial is so unique in that you see something that looks easy, you try it and realize it's actually harder than it looks, and then you come back the next time and can do it..you literally challenge your body in ways you never have before, and see little successes every time. This gym is incredible in the level of teaching as well as community and encouragement you get here...from the trainers to the familiar faces that end up becoming your Aerial friends, once you start you will be hooked for life.

I've been going to UAF for a few months now, and what started out as an interest in aerial fitness turned out to be a passion, and it's now my second home! I've checked out similar studios in Orange County, and although each studio has a different style, I've found that UAF is the best--hands down--for people at all levels of their aerial journey who want to have options for Silks, Hoop (Lyra) and Pole. It's especially a great studio for anyone serious about becoming a great aerialist with options for Aerial Silks, Aerial Hoop, Pole, Flexibility and Contortion. The classes are always fun and a great workout to work towards a "dancer's body", but you get excellent guidance from the instructors who work hard to tailor each class to students' personal needs and/or constraints. It's fantastic that you learn sound aerial techniques, routines and poses while getting variations to suit your skill level. There's a wide variety of classes for each apparatus, it seems impossible to get bored or unchallenged. The class times are also plenty, so I can always fit them into my busy schedule. The aesthetic of the studio is pretty and makes for great Instagram videos. The equipment/gear is always fresh and sanitized. All of the instructors and students are so friendly, supportive and welcoming, I feel like I've gained a new aerial family. I've made so many new friends since I joined UAF. There's always parking right out front so it takes less than a minute to get into the studio. I've never had an issue contacting the front desk if I ever have any administrative questions (scheduling, pricing, membership, etc ). I really like the different pricing options that let you commit as little or as much as you'd like with even more options in between to take ad hoc classes or workshops. UAF holds regular showcases that students can perform in, and it's really cool to see routines or do one yourself and get private sessions. On top of that, the owners go all out with staging and videography for the showcases. It's really impressive. I actually discovered UAF initially through their Youtube videos. So, my final point is that if you're considering taking aerial classes, just pull the trigger and schedule an Intro to one of the apparatus classes. You won't be disappointed!

This studio is amazing! Everyone at the studio is super nice, staff and patrons alike. Alex's silk classes are my favorite! The instructors are all really good at meeting you where you are at, even if everyone else in the class is at a higher level than you. Its the kind of environment where you don't feel bad because you aren't as good as everyone else... and when you nail a new trick most times the whole class is cheering and clapping for you. The culture there is pretty special and I'd recommend the studio to anyone and everyone looking to try aerial.
