I needed an urger appointment to treat conjunctivitis on three of my cats and called different veterinarians, but none had availability, and their prices were extremely high. I ended up infinding this office, I called on a Saturda, and they were able to get us an appointment for Monday morning. The customer service over the phone and in person was amazing, very understanding, and helpful. On the day of our appointment, we received a warm welcome, and quality care.”

“I never expected to have a traditional Chinese Medicinal vet, but the McKays are neighbors who are highly recommended. They have been our dog' s vet for 3 years now, and they are fantastic! They are very thorough and systematic in their approach to medicine, and carefully explain benefits and drawbacks of holistic AND more conventional approaches. My dog has had recurrent UTIs and is now on a Chinese herb that has kept her from needing antibiotics for a year or so. In the meantime, they have given preventative medicine on a case by case basis, weighing the need before over prescribing heartworm and flea and tick meds. Gwen and George are consummate professionals who are kind, honest, and masterful in their work. Plus you will probably get a few bad puns if George can help it!”

“I absolutely LOVE Del Mar Pet Hospital!My dog is so excited to go every time he whines with excitement when we get down the street. My cat even falls asleep on the exam table when she's there.The staff and Drs are so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and work with you on pricing.They are the most fair priced vet I've been to in SC county, and I've been to a lot.I'm talking $100 cheaper for a frequent shot I have to get my pup. I've been fleeced before coming here.The waiting room is inviting and clean. They even offer free teas and coffee while you wait!Ordering prescriptions is an absolute breeze and at super reasonable prices as well.I only had to wait 10 minutes for blood work to come back! I've never experienced that at a vet anywhere in this town before. You can get your results for basic panels while you're still there!They accept CARE credit and most pet insurance too.I'm very sad I only recently discovered them before I'm moving out of state.Do yourself a favor and start taking your pet to Del Mar Pet Hospital ASAP!”

“I'm very happy with there service this time yet I still hate how expensive it is. I will pay the fees so my critters can live healthy happy lives, but it is all about the money. Once you sign the forms, then your animals can be cared for. I guess that is business. It's very difficult when you deal with money and your loved ones.
