Associate helping me waited until we got to the register to ask for my cosmetologists license. Uhh. I had no idea you couldn't shop here unless you had a license. How about putting that in super clear signage and on the website? I went to the website to look stuff up before I went. At no time on the website did it give me an alert or ask me for a cosmetologists license. Wasted a trip halfway across town for a damn color application tool that I couldn't even buy from them.

I haven't even driven here yet, and I'm impressed with this store!! A very competent, friendly and intelligent woman named Princess just helped me, and I'm going to drive to her store tomorrow just because of her amazing service over the phone! It will take me about 30-45 minutes longer than driving to the San Mateo Cosmo Prof, but I won't age 25 years due to the dense-n-lazy factor imbedded in the San Matteo store! Thank you for renewing my faith in California retail employees (well, maybe 'igniting' is a better word).

My visit tonight was great. From calling the day before to check stock to dropping by tonight, Princess, the person running the store was wonderful, helpful, kind, and charming. Wish they made more of her!

My daughter(12 years old) was super excited to buy a comb and a super cute bottle from this store in Modesto on standiford Ave and never did I see a sign that states you have to be a licensed hairstylist to shop here And the lady waiting until we walked up to the register Not friendly at all. Didn't know you had to be licensed to buy a fn water bottle.

Their online website shows inventory that shows available. They then charge your card for the full amount, yet when shipped out when order 13 items, only 4 are shipped and charged a 10.00 shipping fee. Would save time, money, and energy by just driving to the store

I stopped shopping at cosmoprof in Fremont close to 4 years ago because of how horrible The customer service was. This is the only location where I have ever been treated poorly, like the employees hated their job. The reason I stopped going is now the manager, which is mind blowing! She talks to people like they are stupid. I went with a co-worker today and it was the biggest mistake. The employee Karina had no idea of product that the store even carried, weird. I'm not innocent, I was unsure if the amount I had on my cosmoprof credit card and didn't have my card on me, I know.... My bad. However, any other store would have handled the situation better and not have to ring me up a million times. They clearly don't know what they are doing. Katina raised her voice at me and was rolling her eyes at me and when I called her on it the manager, Anna jumped to her defensive "like don't worry, I'll handle it" as if I was in the wrong. Almost laughable! I was thinking of switching back to Wella because they're toners are amazing, but decided after being so poorly treated that I'd rather stick to any color line that salon centric has to offer because I would never shop back at cosmoprof. I'll be paying my card off and closing my account. I do not want to give my hard earned money to a store that has such poor customer service or to a company that employees such ignorance. Being in the hair industry I am super big on customer service but I also understand with that being said that the customer is not always right. This is not one of those cases. This store really needs to get it together!

I'm very frustrated with the store, so I just went there this morning to get some color joico and they have a high lift blonde didn't have any on the shelf so I ask for it and these two girls they're just too busy talking about other crap I asked about the color to see why didn't have it at all they just said oh I don't know what you're talking about we never have it they have the toner semi but they didn't have the permanent and they never heard about it and I've been using for the past four years or three years so I'm so disappointed that I'm gonna start buying my color someplace else different company totally different, when you go to the beauty supply and they don't help you that's very disappointing I said can you look on your site to see if if you're going to continue having it and she said we got our computers updated we cannot look on that right now OK

Very bad customer service, rude and unfriendly. I don't usually write review but I feel this is a must so the upper management can maybe review and train their staffs.

The store itself is pretty well kept & organized thus the four stars, but customer service is horrible. Was a regular customer, but I won't be returning any time soon. Hopefully they hire new staff soon!

Their service is really bad. I've tried ordering items multiple times but the employees never complete it. The employees clearly discriminate at times. When I ask for recommendations, no one knows anything. People say their products are good but most of them are mediocre in addition to being expensive. Returns and purchases are a pain, even if you have a membership card or if the item is completely unused/new.

I've been coming here for many years now and this place always has what I need. Returns have always been smooth and easy. Customer service has improved with newer staff. This is my go-to spot for beauty supplies!

I've been going to this location for the past year now and will not being going back. I don't know what his name is, but there is a man who works there and is extremely rude and and short tempered. I will not be going back there. I have been having unpleasant experiences because of his attitude. Terrible customer service due to this man.

I went there to buy shampoo and color,The guy work threre he is very very rude.He was asking me,do you have license he did not help me at all.I told him I am a esthetician!!That guy is really rude Never Never go back!!
