This is my first time using DHL and I doubt I'll be using it again. So, my parents sent me 2 packages from Myanmar to Fremont and it took only 2-3 days to get here. Inside the packages, they put in some frozen food because they heard the shipping is fast. I'm in a rush to get it because they put in the frozen food, which I'm sure it's all spoiled already since it's been more than 10 days and the packages still aren't delivered to me. When I try to go pick it up, they told me that they're unable to help me unless I submit a hold my packages application, which is honestly ridiculous to me because it will take more days to finish processing that. They also told me that the packages are scheduled for delivery on Monday. Well, Monday has passed and there are no updates on my delivery status. So, I tried to submit an application but they asked for a DHL account number which I do not have. I've also tried contacting customer service and wait on call for more than 10 minutes to which they hung up on me. So, right now, my hands are tied and DHL is a horrible shipping center. I don't recommend it to anyone.

DHL status says that package has been delivered but I didn't receive any package. This is literally the worst service. They have misplaced my package. I have no idea from where to get my package now.

It took 2 days for my package to go from HK to Fremont. And it took forever for DHL Fremont hub to process it. I hold it for pickup at the Fremont hub and drove there twice. The person at the counter cannot tell me where my package is or when it will be ready because it has never been “physically scanned”. Yesterday, they said it will be ready be today morning. Today, they said it “should” be ready by today. I need my package!!!
I paid for the speed! You shouldn’t keep my package in the container!!! Process it!

Very bad customer service from there my pack is already arrived here more than 2 days they are showing it will delivered 26 September I called to customer service dhl but now they are saying it will delivered to next week becoz use the driver is not available very bad swrvice

Hard to find, go to the back of the warehouse to find the office. They don't open right on time at 10am, more like 10:15am so plan accordingly.

I recently visited the DHL point of service to ship a package, and I was extremely pleased with the experience. Jack, the staff member who assisted me, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He guided me through the shipping process efficiently and ensured that everything was in order.
Thanks to Jack's excellent customer service, my package was shipped smoothly and delivered on time. I highly recommend this DHL location for their professionalism and reliable service. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Save yourself from embarrassment from dealing with DHL (inc. their default customer service/social handle). Even more specifically from Fremont location. Your package is guaranteed to be lost or delayed despite sitting in their warehouse for days. Case in point, all the negative reviews below are completely true.
The customer service reps have mastered the repetitive phrase "We are sorry for the inconvenience. Is there anything else I can assist you with?" when they don't even try to listen to the issue. Lessons learned the hard way unfortunately.
Please use FedEx or UPS always.

We booked as express delivery.
But I don't know the reason to keep it hold for 2 days in Fremont.
Even I today I had to drive 23 miles to get my package.
If I have not gone ,it would taken another 2 more days to deliver.

Their delivery system is broken. On several occasions, I’ve noticed that shipments from Fremont to Pleasanton show a status of "Out for delivery," but by the end of the day, the status updates to "No one at home, unable to deliver." This is inaccurate, as they never attempt delivery on the scheduled date and instead provide misleading updates. There is no way to contact the Fremont office directly, and the customer service team only reads the status without offering any meaningful information on whether a delivery attempt was actually made.

The driver delivered my package ti the wrong address took a picture showing another persons home, with different door color and Matt and insist on that they delivered to the right address and are trying to close this case! Although I guess they really don’t care about ppl s review since it is already 2.6

I had ordered something on ebay that came from Japan, was a fishing reel and was set to be delivered from September 10th-13th. It is now October 2nd and I got email telling me that it's basically lost now and there's nothing they can do and will no longer help me. How the hell does my package that I spent $100 plus on get lost, I genuinely don't get it. Either someone is extremely incompetent or someone working at the facility stole my package, this is completely unacceptable and no I don't want help. It's been over 2 damn weeks since I was supposed to get it.
Edit: yeah they're lying, ANYONE WHO IS ORDERING TRY DIFFERENT DELIVERY OPTIONS IF AVAILABLE. They straight up lied to me saying it got lost once it arrived in the U.S.
IT ARRIVED IN SAN FRANCISCO, IT LITERALLY SAYS IT GOT HERE. WENT TO THE SF FACILITY AND THEN TO THE FREMONT ONE ON THEIR WEBSITE FROM A LINK FROM EBAY/THEM. Absolutely insane what's going on at that store

It's just unbelievable!
I've asked my friend to send me small letter less than half pound weight, to use DHLs Express worldwide service, I've checked the price of the service online: that was $58, which is already a lot of money for small envelope, but can you imagine the stuff improving demand for payment of $224?!
It's a robbery attempt!
Shame on DHL!

Irresponsible is how I would describe this shipping company. I sent for my passport from Colombia and this company lost the package with my documents and their response is that it was simply lost and that's it. Some irresponsible people who play with the money and trust of those of us who place our orders in their hands, a lack of respect who do not want to answer you for the mistake they made, they do not know the frustration and helplessness that comes from the lack of seriousness and irresponsibility of this company. . I hope a situation like mine doesn't happen to anyone else. I give them a star so I can write my comment. Because they honestly don't deserve anything.
