Be wary of this bank! Been here for a long time but what the security guard did today 12/11/23 made me suspicious of it overall. He came over to where I parked @5:51PM(I didn't think much it). Then when I finished with the teller, I was in the lobby counting my money when I saw him looking at me through the window. When I left at 5:57, he walked to car and took a photo of my license plate on his phone (white iphone). Now at his car, he kept staring as he was changing his shoes from his trunk. I got scared and left. I am never going back to this bank, that's enough for me!

ATMs always say temporarily unavailable for cash withdrawals. It can’t be considered temporary if its ALL the time. Just get rid of the ATMs or save people time by taping them off.

This is a pleasant branch to visit, it does get busy but I've noticed they try to have multiple tellers during their busy hours, not like other branches that will only have one person working. This review is specifically for Kamran the branch manager. I've had a few banking issues in the last month and he's jumped in to help me. Kamran's customer service has been amazing and I'm so appreciative of all his help.

I believe that Karmela should be recognized as an asset to Patelco. Her bosses in that company would do well in business given that Karmela is a wonderful source of positive help given to Patelco's members. I myself will be seeking out Karmela's advice and knowledge to help me with my financial goals. I trust Karmela 150% and people like her are absolutely wonderful concerning financial matters.

Karmela Guno is sincerely beyond THE BEST Member Solutions Specialist at Patelco Credit Union! As a new member opening up accounts, I was extremely pleased and I will always be grateful for Karmela's time as well as each and every one of her efforts. She helped multiple members of my family and I, while exceeding all of our expectations regarding our visit. She really took the time to make sure we were all taken care of and that everything necessary was completed before we left. She is very welcoming, kind, compassionate, and patient. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to request Karmela Guno for their Patelco needs. Thank you so much Karmela!

I have not been one to consistently write reviews, but my experience was incredibly insightful & helpful that I feel the need to share. The overall atmosphere of the branch was very welcoming & friendly, despite the branch being filled and busy on a Friday afternoon. All of the employees we had the opportunity to come across were beyond helpful, especially the Member Solutions Specialist, Karmela Guno. Despite waiting approximately 45 minutes before being helped, it was definitely worth the wait. The Financial Advisor, Hector Siqueiros, warmly approached and asked us if we had scheduled an appointment. It was our first time, so we did not know and had not scheduled one. He kindly said something along the lines of, "Oh, I believe the specialist over there is available to help you." The specialist he pointed us to was Karmela Guno. Karmela's patience, knowledge, and kindness exceeded all of our expectations. It was my family's and my first time working with Patelco, and Karmela Guno explained everything we needed to know about opening up our Patelco memberships and accounts. Regardless of the number of questions we asked, she patiently answered all of them in great detail. Beyond grateful to have had a great experience, especially as someone who is just learning about finances as a college student.

Incompetent is the word I'd use in order to describe my awful experience with Patelco. Comparable to a big bank to me, this credit union found my card was compromised. I then called the number provided in the text message they sent me. Turned out I waited 15 minutes on hold for someone to tell me that my card had been compromised and that I need to call Patelco for a new card. Wait, what? Turned out to be a third party for my card and I still had to call ANOTHER number and wait an additional 20 minutes in order to get ahold of Patelco. This happened on a Saturday morning and I spent all my time over the phone trying to contact an actual person and not some automated service. Jumping through all hoops in the manner of time I had to wait, I decided I should just go into a Patelco in person so that I can actually talk to a real person and not a machine. Well, they closed before I could even get there. I couldn't even use my own money over the entire weekend for me or my family. This place is just as bad as any big bank. Fast forward to Monday morning I had to take time from work to go in and get a new card when I should have been able to do that over the phone and with no issue at all. I wish I could give less than 1 star..

I came here today for a transaction and like this location over the one near my house better. Its employees are very well attentive and ready to assist you. I walked in and a an employee named Rosa was quick to speed walk from her cubicle to assist me on the other end of the branch. I admire her sense of urgency and the gentleman i met as well behind the counter, i don't know his name but he was awesome too. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. This will be my preferred new destination for future transactions at Patelco Credit Union.

WENT TO PATELCO MARCH 9 around 12 pm.Performed a transaction with Melanie. After finishing transaction, went shopping nearby for over half an hour/ an hour, when I came back to do another transaction, MY ACCOUNT WAS STILL UP ON HER SCREEN, SHE HAD MY ACCOUNT UP LOOKING AT MY ACCOUNT FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. IS THIS STANDARD PROCEDURE AT FREMONT BRANCH?!! ALSO FOR PROOF, another member was there to WITNESS THE WHOLE THING, friend name is VIJAY. Then got a credit card remade, worked one time then DECLINED. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!
