“I am not a member of the Elks Lodge, but they allow my square dancing club to use their large facilities. On the other side of the curtain dinner is being served. Often when the chef has made too much dessert he brings the excess to our group and we have enjoyed some wonderful desserts.”

“Cinemark at Pacific Commons is my go to movie theater for all new movie releases. All of its theaters are clean and well maintained and it's team of workers all provide great customer service. Best Cinemark out of the other closest Cinemark's (Milpitas & Union City).”

“The main reason I took a star off is because when I walked into the bathroom, there was a huge hairy spider in the bathtub waiting to greet me. Not a daddy long legs...the kind that you don't simply catch in a tissue and throw away. Being arachnaphobic, this was a nightmare for me. I took the trash can, filled it with water and poured it into the bathtub and put it down the drain. In all my years of staying at hotels of all kinds, this is the first time I've ever had a spider in my room. Now that's not to say it's completely the responsibility of housekeeping to do pest control but the last thing I wanted to see in my room was a spider. I spent the rest of the evening paranoid that there would be another one.Despite that, everything else was perfect. The room was amazingly spacious and while I've read reviews from others mentioning the sound of the freeway being a bad thing, I didn't notice it at all and my room was facing the freeway. For it being a weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no noisy neighbors or loud TV/music. It was perfect for me to get a good night's rest. I wish I didn't have to be out the door so early the following morning, I would have loved to try their hot breakfast, which is one of the main reasons why I stay at Holiday Inn Express properties.I've read other negative reviews about the property, including there being some kind of issue with flies at the entrance (?) but I didn't experience any of what previous reviews have mentioned so that likely means they addressed those issues. Either way, I would stay here again (although I might bring a can of Raid next time, haha, we'll see!).”

“Nice arrangements. Parking was an issue for the event of small duration. Students demonstrated praiseworthy projects mostly associated with robotics & 3D printing.”

“Beautiful decor. Setting and layout of building is ideal for any event you have planned. There are stairs and thin hallways, not a handicap friendly establishment for full access to backyard and restrooms.”

“We hosted our daughter's 21st birthday in Dec'25. We had given some ideas about backdrop and decoration, within our low budget and wasn't sure how its gonna turn out. Same with the food, with some special requests(deviation from original menu). Juan and his team promised that they will be taking good care of all the requests.
We were pleasantly surprised with the amazingly occasion perfect decor. Food was great and service was amazing. The entire celebration felt royal. We left with lots of beautiful memories and joy. I would definitely recommend this venue.”

“This hotel is close to the highway, but it was quiet enough. I had no issue with the noise. It's not quite a newly built hotel, so the room design, HVAC system, and some details like mold or fabrics can be a little bit outdated, but I had a decent stay (the room that I got had an HVAC issue, and the staff kindly changed my room to a new one, which had zero issue). I highly value the hotel's efforts to minimize plastic and disposable items at breakfast. I can understand hotels that don't do this due to management/cost aspects, but I believe this kind of effort should be highly appreciated! Overall, it's not a fancy or new hotel but decent enough w/o any issues, so I do recommend.”

“This place was fun for the kids. Most of the staff was very helpful even with my lady being in panic mode at the beginning setting up except for whoever was supposed to host our room pretty much never showed up and had we to ask the host next door for stuff. Which they had no issues with. Kinda pricey for a 2 hour party for 20 kids. You could definitely rent a dope jumper and throw it in a park all day. Kids had fun, and that's all that matters. Their chicken strips and pizza are pretty good, too.”
