Hobby Shops in Fresno, CA

“Great place, i called up there because the website had been down for a bit, and the guy on the phone was ultra helpful and got me all the information i needed, will be coming back for more”

“Shout out to Brady amd Jenn for always providing excellent customer service. Went to go pick up a pre order and they had it ready in a pokemon bag. Way to go above and beyond for your customers. Much love.”

“I like the shop, has a good decent selection from time to time. Neil's got more Yu-Gi-Oh than pokemon, but still has enough pokemon for your average consumer. But if you consider expanding your horizons to Yu-Gi-Oh, I think it'll help diversify your hobby if you're mainly into Pokemon.

Neil's an honest dude, chill and pretty respectful. You can tell he's has been doing this for a while, he does the best he could. I genuinely enjoy my time there when I'm really looking around.

Make sure to have cash or PayPal setup on your phone ready as a payment method for transactions.

I'm not big on comics, but don't forget to give that a shot too. I still feel bad how his store got robbed a couple months ago, just to steal a couple hundred dollars worth of product and cause thousands in damage, this shop didn't deserve that.”

“I was looking for information on botany and I was assisted by an enthusiastic young woman who seemed happy to help me and I managed to find some of what I was looking for due to her help.”

“Fantastic customer service! Amazing selection! Knowledgeable and kind staff make this family owned shop a must visit if your a collector in the Fresno area! Thank you for the great experience.”

“TLDR: great selection at very fair prices, come visit!

Thor was very friendly and helped a ton. Found a good price on Magic the gathering but looking over his prices, everything was market (just a bit above or below) so the prices are very fair indeed! Come check out the awesome selection”

“Amazing place, very helpful. It’ll woken my 12-year-old inner self with all of the RC planes, cars, and boats. Was absolute paradise. Not to mention the amazing help from Chris to help me diagnose what was wrong with my RC car and give me more information about it that I had no idea, especially just getting into the actual big boy RC world and they were a tremendous help. Highly recommend anything from this store and if you ever need help, I can definitively say The two gentlemen there will absolutely serve you right”

“Located at Fashion Fair this Barnes and Noble is very small compared to the one at RP, they don't have Starbucks/Cafe here. I've visited this location a few more times between Thanksgiving and Christmas, as a Premium Member there were so many deals that were so hard to pass up. Initially was at RP BN but ended up here as they sold out of the books I wanted at RP. During my visits here it's actually been quite busy and being a small place it could be really tight moving around. The books are beautifully laid out but the times I've come I had trouble looking for the books I wanted. Thankfully the staff here is really nice and helpful. During their 25% off and extra 10% as members sale this kind worker went above and beyond. He went to the back in their stockroom and looked through the boxes to find the 2 books I was looking for, I left just over the moon! Would definitely recommend BN anytime.”

“Chantel and Sonia were extremely helpful while shopping here. They gave great customer service! I came in the store to buy everything needed for a Cricut machine. They helped me find all the items for beginners and spent the time explaining the different Cricut items. I will definitely be returning!”

“Stopped in after work to get baseball cards for my son’s advent calendar. I used to get them at Target, but they no longer sell them, so I had to find where I could go locally. So glad Target stopped selling them to be honest - had the nicest experience! Matt at Mossette’s helped me figure out the best cards to get for my son, AND went through his football cards and gifted me probably 20 cards of players on my son’s fantasy team, players from Fresno, popular players, and even a Travis Kelce card for me, the Swiftie. Super kind, incredible customer service. Will go back.”

“They don't have fabric here but they've stepped up their game in a lot of the other departments. Especially yarn, crochet and knitting supplies.
The employees are always very nice and helpful and the managers are especially lovely, they recognize me and say hi and ask if I'm being taken care of. I always am. They'll always point out sales and remind you about coupons.
Online ordering and pickups have always been easy here as well. They always make sure I am getting the best price and are happy to help price check. And even if things don't work out, they are always extremely apologetic. They do their best to problem solve or offer alternative solutions and if nothing else, they are super patient and informative if they can't solve whatever arises.
It doesn't matter if I'm all dressed up or in my ugly pajamas; if I'm shopping or if I'm just browsing, everyone has only ever treated me super well here. ?
They are eager to help, even if they don't know something. They'll find someone knowledgeable or do their very best to help. Even at self-checkout, there is always at least one employee there to help you or ring you up, if that's what you prefer. They make sure members get their rewards or discounts so they have the correct total. They also make sure that coupons are properly scanned and accepted if you bring on in or have them on your phone. ☺️”
