“Food: 5/5Tried the pistachio ricotta cake. I really was craving tiramisu but they did not have any and I do love pistachio so gave it a try. The layers melt in your mouth and the top layer has a slight crisp and powdered sugar on it that is amazing. Service: 5/5 I rushed here right before closing and a gentleman came out of his way to go package the slice for me which was very kind. Not much of a line as it was closing time, Ambiance: 4/5 Not too busy, but again, I came a bit late (planning to leave before they closed if I didn't find anything). If it wasn't closing time, I would have definitely shopped a bit more around.”

“This is a nice store, it's always clean and well stocked. I shopped there three days ago because I wanted some more of their delicious Turkey Hill Maple Fudge from Canada. It's so good that I bought two boxes. When I opened the first box there were nine pieces (supposed to be 10) and an empty wrapper. The other box had ten pieces. Oh Canada, why? Lol...”

“Our favorite grocery store. Where safeway makes you feel like cattle on the way to slaughter, Raleys is at a slower pace that i literally pay for that privilege. The pharmacy ROCKS! They consistently advocate for my partner, who has constant battles with pharmaceutical insurance issues, to get them to provide life-saving medications. Everyone is kind there. They have interesting holiday and home oddities. We will always shop here over Safeway.”

“You walk in and it's like home. Ned and Brenda are wonderful people. I am 46 so I been going there since I was a kid maybe in elementary school. Ned and Brenda, have treated my oldest brother Terry who has schizophrenia with utmost respect. Most people, look the other way when they see a mentally ill person. They have given him odd jobs around the property. My only criticism is they have 3 doorfulls of Gatorade. The other doors could be used for more variety. Love You Guys Lots.”

“I ordered some of the catering trays from Oliver's. I ordered the meat/cheese, condiments, veg, fruit, and grilled veg trays for a memorial service. They were packaged in very sturdy boxes that were easy to stack, the trays were gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful! Everyone was so incredibly impressed by not only the look but they all tasted really good. The grilled veg tray was by far everyone's favorite! The staff was very nice and helpful and the end product was artwork! Thank you Oliver's for making a stressful situation so very relaxing!”

“They had my favorite rum and it wasn't on their website. So if you don't see what you're looking for on their website just go in and find it. They had Bumbu rum For as good or better price as anybody eas long as I had their little bevmo club Carter whatever so I had to get that but that made it cheaper than anywhere else and it's the best rum ever. If you're a pirate or you just like rum or even if you don't or even if you don't drink try it just take a sip leave it in your mouth for a minute and then swallow it's the best ever!”

“Best place in town for liquor and eggs and bacon and lottery tickets and free local newspapers in town, in my opinion. And cigarettes and rolling papers and delicious, nourishing freshly house-made $4 sandwiches.”

“Just went to this place with a couple friends for my 21st - we just looked up nearby bars and walked to the closest one. Not only was the bartender super nice, but the environment in itself was awesome. Made my day a lot more awesome. Shoutout to Michelle for being an awesome bartender! This place rocks and I would highly recommend it!”

“Fresh Dungeness Crab Oliver's advertised fresh California Dungeness Crab On visiting the seafood section there was a nice display of crab on ice. Cooked, cleaned only, will not crack Upon purchasing 2 for dinner left the market After arriving home, opening the package it was clear the meat appeared a little dry. Cracked a few legs, noticed the meat did not look right. So; tasted the meat and discovered it was mealy and dry. One crab this way is an anomaly, 2 not a coincidence. Yep? So it went that - the second crab was worse yet. Mealy cooked crab can happen one or two ways; 1. the crab had been dead for awhile before cooking, and/or 2. it was overcooked. Immediately jumped in the car to return the crustaceans. Oliver's in the normal style refunded our money. But; the lady could not resist herself to say "these are fresh from Bodega Bay every day" -- somehow excusing the mushy foul taste under the shelled bodies. Lesson learned; always buy live crabs, cook, clean and crack them yourself. Live crabs are in season, easy to find currently at $6.99 a pound. Lesson #2; the market's fish monger should not allow this to happen. It's Oliver's and quality, as-far-as I can remember, is based on excellence. Lesson #3; the customer is always right Of course I/we'll return for other meats, produce... We love you Oliver's”

“This is my all-time favorite little store, the staff are friendly. It's got a mixture of things for everybody, and I like to support these little stores...There's a caveat I must add: there's a lot of homeless that hang out in this parking lot.And it's not owned by the original people that I used to see every day for four years when I was in college; be that as it may, it's still one of my favorite little stores”

“Great liquor in downtown. Found the place in the shopping center. Small place but had what I was looking for. Quick stop in place for drinks, cigarettes, and snacks. Not a full shopping kind of store. They had beer pong balls and cups surprisingly.”

“I always wanted to see what this store was like. Driving by recently, I parked and went inside. It has just what it advertises. There is a vast selection of beer, wine and hard liquor. They have a small Deli in front and some grocery items. The store is fairly organized. There are apartments above and the outside has a look of historical significance. The clerk was friendly. The outside takes on the appearance of a skid row as the poor souls that frequent this establishment congregate with like minded individuals.”

“I can always find what I need and they have so many options it's awesome. If you just want to try something new or looking for different brands not available in other stores this is the place to go and they have sales!”

“The man who runs this location is the real deal, calls everyone "friend," and puts up with a lot of s*** from homeless and gangbangers. I spend my money here rather than any other place in Santa Rosa because of the genuine good feeling I get from the owner. Lots of whiskey, good amount of good beers, and a great selection of Lottery scratchers, go figure!”

“When I'm in the neighborhood I'll shop at Raleys. It's a little pricey so it's worth figuring out how to get their member or frequent shopper discounts, similar to Safeway s saving potential. I like Raleys bc It has a wonderful selection of personal care products, pet supplies, gifts and fresh produce. Of course a great wine department too. I also appreciate the interior design utilizing dark wood. It seems to mellow out the fluorescent lights so typical of grocery stores. Enjoy!”

“This is a liquor store.. They sell all kinds of alcohol. Very clean, very what you expect in a liquor store. No one speaks English but that's not an issue there. People find what they want, buy it and leave. The end. I like all the people who work there .”
