I always make sure to take my time before drafting a review. Yesterday, we visited passport services to inquire about the process. We were informed that we needed to arrive early in the morning and write our names down to receive assistance in the afternoon, after 2:30 PM. Today, we arrived promptly at 8:45 AM to put our names on the list, only to be informed that all slots were filled and we were third in line. We were told that only four walk-in applications were accepted, and the person ahead of us had three applications. It's frustrating that none of this information was available online, leaving us uninformed about the procedures. The staff were unhelpful and couldn't explain the situation clearly, both in person and online. #USPS should improve their communication with customers regarding their services.

I gave the wrong address for my package( didn’t include my apartment #) and got an email from the place I bought it from saying it failed delivery. Hopped onto the USPS website and inputted my tracking number to find out my package was “disposed” of. Looked through the website and filed a service request at around 11:00 p.m. All I could do was wait and see what would happen. Luckily, I received a call in the morning around 9 a.m. saying that they could hold my package for one day. Seeing as they open at 9:30, it’s amazing that they get their work started soon in the day. Overall, I received great service for something that was completely my fault. Shoutout to Ms. Rivera.

Last week my wife received an opened and retapped package with missing items. Over the past two years, this has been happened serval times. I finally got fed up and reported to authorities. Gilroy UPS is notorious for opening and stealing packages. There needs to investigation at the Gilroy Post Office as I know this can’t only be happening to us in Gilroy. It’s sad when your kids Christmas present are stolen.

These guys working there are totally rude and fraud specially that girl at first counter . I went there last week and posted a document to india and they gave me a cheaper option which is not trackable and other option in which I could track was around 8 times costlier. It was an imp doc, I choose the tracking option and paid them 8 times higher fee.. but it’s been more then a week now , I can’t track it . Today I visited this place and asked about this issue .. and she was too rude she said if u can’t track that’s not my problem … u can come to usps again and again and we will check it and tell where your doc is now . Why??????? I paid for the service , and I didn’t get that… and they want to me come everyday and ask them about the status… these guys seem inexperienced or they don’t care about customer service …

Mail carriers holds grudges if you don't pick up your mail and will punish you by placing your mail on hold. Apparently carriers consider themselves mail-cops. The Gilroy office condones this behavior and will hang up on you if you complain.

Did not follow delivery instructions for receiving hours. Held package and then had me on hold for an hour, without resolve. Greatly disappointed.

Absolutely horrible customer service. If I could, I would have given this location 0 stars. I have had so many issues with this location where they’ve lost my package, failed to retrieve some packages, didn’t offer a refund for orders I’ve made online (saying that it wasn’t their fault that they couldn’t retrieve a package, when they’re the ones who dropped it off at the wrong location), and so much more. I don’t remember who helped me but it was a guy. I have already been waiting for 30 minutes to get helped (there was 5 people in front of me when I arrived) and he was unenthusiastic and didn’t really want to help me with the item I needed to get shipped (as I sold something from online). He told me that I needed to buy one of their packaging bags/boxes because the one I had was invalid (I spent an extra $3 on it). A week later after the item shipped, I was charged an extra $7 because the package ended up being overweight by 1oz, which the guy did not mention while I was there. It was originally a 9oz package before the guy told me to switch it and I had already paid for the prepaid shipping label (which was the 1lb). He failed to notify me of the charge which made me furious as I was waiting in line for 30 minutes, forced me to buy a new packaging box because he didn’t like the one I had (I’ve shipped with other locations with a similar box and never had an issue), and failed to tell me about the extra charge because the new package that I bought had extra weight to it. If you can, avoid this location at all cost. Ridiculous
