Continental Gourmet Sausage Co. is a small, unassuming, and cozy German deli with an alpine store front. It is a wonderful place, an amazing find, and has been in business since 1961. The owner is an expert in his craft with many awards, making all German sausages and wurst in-house using old world traditional recipes without preservatives. This includes homemade liverwurst, Fleischkäse, leberkäse, bratwurst, weisswurst, knockwurst, and other specialties. They also bake their own artisan bread and fresh baguettes on site. The deli section has all the basics, including outstanding sandwiches which are huge and come with a side like potato salad or Fleischsalat. The German potato salad has wonderful depth of flavor. Beyond sausages and breads, the store is full of goodies from Europe, including candies, German chocolates, packaged cakes, desserts, dumplings, noodles like spätzle, frozen schnitzel, frozen pretzels, and other comestibles. The staff are warm, friendly, fantastic, and beyond nice, providing great customer service and sometimes offering samples. The store is small and located adjacent to a bank, with street parking and plenty of parking in the back. Customers drive from far away, highly recommend it, and keep coming back for years, never disappointed.

Even though the market section was on the smaller side, we were pleasantly surprised at the vast selection of imported German goods. The guy at the counter was SUPER nice and helpful. We loved our lunch, would definitely recommend this place.

Quality sausages and cold cuts, priced a bit high and suitable for larger parties since it'll be very expensive, each sausage $3.00.!
