Whenever we visit Glendale from Orange County, we make a point of stopping here to buy our meat for kebob. Even though it is quite a drive for us, it is absolutely worth it because we know we are getting great-quality meat. We have purchased from them many times, and we have always been very happy with the quality. Their customer service is also outstanding. The staff are friendly, helpful, respectful, and professional. The manager deserves special recognition as well—very professional, attentive, and clearly committed to maintaining high standards for both product quality and customer service. “Sipan Meat Market on Colorado Boulevard in Glendale has a great selection of high-quality meats and cuts. My favorites are the marinated lamb chops, beef kebab cuts, and short ribs. Everything I have purchased has been fresh, flavorful, and perfect for grilling. I have not tried their barbecue sauce or garlic sauce yet, but both are definitely on my list. I also keep telling myself that one day I am going to buy one of their barbecue grills! What truly makes Sipan special is the friendly and welcoming staff. “Excellent meat and delicious takeout food!!! I love their beef luleh plate! You can order anything from their butcher case and have it barbecued Armenian style (khorovats) or turn it into a plate with all the sides! I’ve lived in Glendale my whole life and had kabob and khorovats from many places and this place is one of my top three places! The flavor is delicious and the service is amazing, very kind and welcoming! It’s also busy during lunch hour so call and place your order ahead of time. I had them make barbecue for family events and it’s always a hit! I’m not Armenian and even my Armenian friends come to this place to have food made for their parties and gatherings so you know it’s good!”

“Only spot I go for Beef Luleh & Beef shish kabob meat. Super clean , friendly , affordable & quality is top tier. I love making spicy meatballs with the luleh & sometimes I cut the shish thinly to make tacos at home . The owner is wonderful too she helps me with the pronunciation of the meat I’m getting so I feel a lot better when ordering at restaurants . I also find it super cool to see how she gauges how to scoop the many pounds/kilos your getting first try .”

“I have been looking for a great market in the area that is clean, has fresh products, and feels like a good place to give your money too. I stopped by this store on my way to another supermarket that google maps was directing me too. I guess I could say the exterior caught my attention. I’m not sure why the ratings on this store aren’t as high as they should be. I bought the best produce I had in the past several years. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and tasteful. Also they have all kinds of bread and baked goods, I tried the baguettes that was delicious and very fresh. I highly recommend stopping by at this store to get your produce. Also, their employees are so kind, a young lady helped me find exactly what I was looking for which made shopping there so much better. You wanna make sure you’re giving your business to good people and I think if the employees are well mannered it comes from how the business is run. Keep it up!”
