Awefull place to stay. The clerk was very unprofessional and rough in manner. We had an issue with issue with the reservation caused by the hotel and the clerk did not fix it. My reservation was canceled and i my card was still charged with the full price of the room even though it was their error.1/28/24 @ 7pm. I would not ever stay in this place even for free. I would advice anyone to make this place their last option if u must stay here burbank.

DO NOT go to this hotel. We arrived there, and they put us in a room that smelled like rotten sewage, and what I can only assume was heavy perfume to cover up the smell. After 2 hrs in the room the smell was so bad I asked for us to be moved to a different room and when I explained why I wanted to switch rooms they didn't even question that, they just made the switch (almost like they already knew it was a problem?).They charged me for parking, even though the website I booked through said it was free. After speaking with the manager and proving that it says "free parking," they assured me they were going to reimburse me for the parking when they returned the damage deposit, but they returned neither. I called the hotel a week later, and they again assured me it would be back on my credit card in a day or two. It has now been two weeks, and it has not been reimbursed.Save yourself the pain and the miserable experience and go to a different hotel. This place is not worth it.

Where do I even begin with this place. Sink was busted, so it leaked all over the counters and under it. Toilet is broken so only one button works and the seat is a free for all ride since it has not been secured. In the shower, they seem to have filled a crack at the top with paper towels...don't know why. Walls are thin. The staff are pretty good though and they are trying to fix it, since when we brought some of this up someone came over right away, but they were not able to fix it quickly since apparently it was a bigger and deeper job. And that does speak loads to the potential of this place once issues are resolved...that's not it's current state.

I don't understand how this property can get away with listing as a hotel. This is a motel. Rooms facing the street where any passing stranger can watch you come and go with access to your front door. Not sure if your familiar with the demographic of Los Angeles, but citizens there aren't known for hospitality, but closer to guns and crime. For travelers coming from out of country looking for a HOTEL, I strongly advise against this stay as you are a prime target of theft and robbery. Requested a refund, or some form of compensation for the misrepresentation, and they stuck to "policy" in order to deny any responsibility for their false advertisement. If you fall for the same trap, contact someone immediately - do NOT wait until you return home.

Honestly I don't understand why people say this place is bad, it's honestly pleasant enough for the price. In this economy their room looks modern enough and quite spacious. The only minor problems are that, first the bathroom door is a sliding door which is very weird--it doesn't seal, and the toilet stinks at least once a day for some reason. They have no microwave in the room but the office has one. The check in opens till 4 am. We were facing the street and it wasn't loud at all, the curtains do the job, floor is a bit squeaky but nothing crazy. Sheets are clean, no bugs, no smell, I liked it better than the other hotel we stayed at during this vacation. 9/10 would stay again.

I’d like to preface this with the fact that I’ve never submitted a negative review for a business. I’m a small business owner in the hospitality/service industry myself, and I take submitting negative feedback very seriously. That being said, the room I was provided this past weekend at the Glen Capri was frankly unacceptable, and I don’t think they should be charging money for the unit I stayed in (#228) at this time. Before I get into the issues, I’d like to note that the staff was universally kind and friendly, and that the issues with the room are clearly not within their control, and do not reflect on their performance of their job duties.I booked unit #228 for the dates of 11/3-11/6 with the understanding that it was the King Suite Loft; a unit with a king bed, 2nd floor window views, an in-unit jetted hot tub, and generally the highest standard of amenities and comfort provided by the motel. When I arrived, the room was clearly substandard, and appeared to be under construction/unfinished, and also not fully cleaned.Issues I noted:- The room appeared to have been recently painted a stark, primer white, although there were still chips and scuffs from sanding and repair, leading me to believe they hadn’t applied their final coat of paint yet. Supporting this was the fact that the painting and trim details, including the film graphics and color trim present in other units, had not yet been applied, indicating that the interior paint was as yet unfinished.- Several of the wall and headboard outlets did not function, and could not supply power to accessories I had plugged in.- There was no remote supplied for the television, and it took me an hour to get a functional remote from the office.- The hairdryer was broken and only worked on the lowest setting, and even then, would turn off intermittently.- The door to the bathroom was completely missing its handle/latch, and there was an unpainted hole for mounting one instead, showing exposed particle board.- The fixtures on the jetted hot-tub were broken, and spun loosely in their fittings. They did not function correctly unless I wiggled them into a connection, and carefully turned them slowly to initiate water flow.- The floor of the tub was noticeably dirty, with dark residue on the white surfaces.- There are no towel racks or hooks of any kind. There are no shelves for soap or wash cloths in the shower.- The toilet area was completely missing fixtures to hold the toilet paper rolls. There was a spot on the wall where the outline and mounting holes for a toilet paper holder were present, indicating that there had been one at some point, but that it was missing. The toilet paper rolls were placed directly on the floor, which seemed unsanitary.- The body wash and conditioner dispensers were empty, and the pumps on the dispenser were broken and did not work properly. The shampoo dispenser had some shampoo, but it was very thin and watery, as if it had been literally watered down, and the dispenser handle barely functioned.- Despite requesting linen service all 3 days of my stay, I never received it, and was left with my same towels and sheets the entire stay. Some of this may have been due to a language barrier, but I still placed my “service requested” door hanger on my outside door handle each day.Overall, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I paid close to $700 for my stay, and being provided a room that felt unfinished and dirty, as well as receiving no cleaning/turndown/linen service from the staff feels unacceptable. I feel that the Glen Capri Innneeds to address these issues before charging to rent this room again.

I would say the stay was wonderful it was comfortable and the parking was great. But our door lock at some point of me and my family's stay broke so we had to be changed and in that room our key had stopped working the service is great they are very nice people. We went to the hotel while our home was being renovated and it was a great distance from my dads work.Walkability: It was close to my dads work

IDK why there's so many weird reviews! I loved this place! My room looked exactly like the pictures, the bed was soooo comfy I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning! And the shower was amazing ?? nice and hot ?. The only small complaints I have i wish they were more transparent about the 100$ deposit. I didn't see anything about it when I made my reservation. I don't stay at hotels often so maybe this is normal? IDK but it's all good, luckily I was able to pay it. Also, make sure to take pictures of any damages as soon as you get your room to show them, that way they know it wasn't you, (if you want your deposit back). My room has some very small damages (not easily noticeable) when I checked. However, I showed them the pics and they notated it so that they knew it wasn't me :). Other than that, the location wasn't anything to brag about, no shops or anything within walking distance but Americana is a short drive away. I will say though, it's in a relatively safe area, no need to worry about tweakers hanging around or your car being broken into to. :)As far as price goes- it's a MOTEL guys! Sheesh, Idk if you're expecting 5star Ritz Carlton or what. You get what you pay for and for the PRICE-- IT CANT BE BEAT ??excellent value for your money. I've definitely stayed at worse places that were two times the money. Beautiful room with very tasteful renovations done. The rooms have a cool and spacious see through shower, and a Jacuzzi tub . (My room (106) Jacuzzi didn't work tho but I probably wouldn't have used it anyway). AnywaysAll in all, for the price I would rate this place 4 out of 5 stars! A deal that can't be beat ?thank you front staff lady for your help and for the free room upgrade!!! :D I very much enjoyed my stay and will be returning here if I'm ever in the area again!

I was traveling with two small children, and literally 5 minutes after Checkin, the manager used his master key without knocking and entered my room while I had no clothes on. They offered me 50% off which was a lie, but I explained to them that I have ptsd and was very upset and triggered and his apology was fake and lacked respect and empathy. I have the whole conversation on video, but the situation is still fresh so for now, all I feel comfortable doing is spreading awareness to other families and mothers especially. The gag is I have a lot of followers on social media and I was going to make a video shouting them out for their cute Hollywood aesthetic, but aesthetics did not match the dehumanizing attitude of the staff (which were mostly white men by the way and I am a religious woman of color, so maybe that played a part in the inability to empathize with me as a human).Safety: NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

We booked the king bed room with the jetted tub through Expedia and it was a mistake. We walked in to the room and there was a huge fly over the tub. My husband then decided to check the bed for bed bugs and there was a little tiny flea looking thing running around under the mattress ?(I have never seen a bed bug myself but go figure). We tried taking all the comforters off, but the mattress was covered with a “sheet” that couldn’t be taken off (don’t know how they clean that). As if it wasn’t enough, there was a “cockroach” looking thing running through the top sheets. We grabbed our stuff and went to the front desk and told them about the bugs situation. I would like to say the front desk girl was polite and understanding, but the manager was not onsite. We asked for our stay to be cancelled and a refund, but we were informed it could only be done through Expedia. Expedia claims they haven’t be able to reach the manager and we still haven’t received a refund.
