For passport services. Got here at 8:30, was standing in line for 55 min. Even though I had an appointment, they called everyone in at 9:25. After I got in I was processed in 2 min.

This place is horrible! When u ask a question they don’t even listen they just ring the bell and yell next! I came here for 3 times with the same question! and I asked the exact same question to different employees and all of them gave me different answers … they didn’t even listen… they are rude and they don’t even want to work there !

As always in the case with USPS in such a busy location, a line to wait is for at least 30 min, but just one or two employees to handle.

On July 24, 2023, I had an appointment at the USPS passport division, 313 E. Broadway, Glendale, California, and I did the following and my passport processing went smooth.1. I showed up 30 minutes early 2 day before my appt. I went to the post office to look around for signage for any information in regards to applying for the application and took pictures of all the information and instructions posted and picked up 2 copies of the applications. I went home and reviewed that information, if you don’t have time and can’t go send someone take pictures for you and pick up the application.2. Then I download the application, but made sure in the right hand corner of the application the expiration date had not passed. Use an updated application.3. I typed up and filled out the application, and attached my required documents, (marriage certificate, passport- which wasn’t expired, I just needed to change my name on my passport and my passport card. )4. At my appointment, I told the service lady Shereise, that I was there to have her review my application, so that I can submit it for a name change she checked it told me that I had everything, correct.5. I wanted my application for passport an card expedited, to do so you have to pay $220 + $19.53 for expediting and you will also need to write “EXPEDITE” on the outside of your envelope, as stated in the instructions. So I wrote it on my envelope that my documents were in as well on the outside of my priority, mail express envelope all over several times.6. I got to the post office five minutes before it opened and I met Chi, the clerk at the window. She was awesome. She was thorough. She even looked to make sure I had everything I needed for my envelope according to the fees that I was paying, walk me through the process took all of 5 to 10 minutes the extra minutes because I have write the following on the money: U.S. Department of State, my name, and my birthdate. I gave everything back to Chi and she checked it. $2.00 fee7. Expedite you application Priority Mail Express Send to National Passport Processing Center. PO Box 90955, Philadelphia PA 19190-0955 .$28.75 FeeI will keep you posted on the timing of receiving my passport and card. I hope this information helps made an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early. I did the following and my passport processing went smooth.Today, I wanted to give an update on my passport and I received my passport in the mail by priority mail express on September 2nd showing ship date of August 29, 2023. I think my four week expectation has been exceptionally good. Good luck to everyone else on their passport journey.

Avoid for passport services. My family applied for passport renewals and these guys screwed up one of the applications. It was an administrative oversight. We had waited months for the appointment and had to cancel our family trip. If this happens to you, realize there is nothing you can do other than reschedule another appointment months later. There is no possibility of escalation and no accountability whatsoever. If your travel plans are important I would recommend going with another post office.

Went here to send my passport application out for the first time. They hold walk in appointments TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS. You have to get there early and be lined up outside by 7am once they open they'll hand you a ticket with a number they'll call for walk ins. Make sure to have all files payments and application filled out! One mistake or missing section they won't let you in. Also this isn't a place to get an emergency passport

I came to this location to get FBI fingerprinting done. I was told I can walk-in to do it anytime at the passport department. Well, there is a locked door and I just had to wait outside it (with some other people who were there for passports) until an employee came out to let us in. I was standing there for 25 minutes just waiting for someone to come out. Once I got into the next room, I waited about 10 more minutes and then finally got them done. The good thing was that I got the results in a matter of minutes! Oh and there is no parking lot that I'm aware of so just street parking- be careful if you park by a meter because you don't know how long you'll be waiting.

Was my first time coming here since finding out they accept walk-ins for renewals/first time passports & everything was quick. Building doors open at 7am, passport office opens exactly at 8am whole process was quick & easy. Took my photo id, first time passport & expedited time for a total of $245.

I’ve been coming to this location for several years. If it weren’t so convenient I would avoid this place like the plague! There’s two workers here that I try to avoid the most. I’m not prejudice and I treat everyone with respect. There’s a slogan that I stand by, “I don’t cause no Shi* but I don’t put up with no Shi* either!” I’m sorry… but that’s exactly how this place makes me feel. After standing in line sometimes nearly 30 minutes waiting to be assisted, and greeted with a stale face/ unpleasant attitude would make anyone feel irritable. There’s two asian ladies that work at the front who have some of the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen and work at the slowest pace ever! Quite honestly, I’m not sure how they’ve gotten away with it so long working in a government place of business. They’ve made several unprofessional comments towards me about how many packages I receive, when I don’t think that’s any of their business! One of them laughed to another employee the moment I provided my box number. I made a facial expression to question why they were laughing. One of them responded by saying, “Oh we know who you are!” I’m like excuse me??? lol… I receive a lot of packages because I’m an artist and I have a small business. I’m also a business / finance and marketing professional living in Los Angeles. I’m very educated and have my degree. However, I come dressed very casually but I have a hunch this makes them feel as though they can talk to me in a condescending tone and disrespect me. I made sure to report them to Consumer Affairs United States Postal Office and encourage others to do the same. No customer should dread coming into a place of business and feel disrespected, enough is enough! I’ve scrolled though several comments from several years ago and literally am disgusted over what I’ve read.

Waited nearly an hour to be seen for passport. Once I was finally seen they wouldn't accept my birth abstract which has the exact information on it that the website outlines as acceptable for a birth abstract. Employees are super rude too. 0/5

The absolute worst post office I have ever been to. The workers are constantly profiling customers and changing rules based off of their profiling. As a business owner who only uses the drop off method, which makes their life and work so much easier, you would think that they’d be more courteous. It is worth it to drive to another location just so you don’t have to deal with their attitudes and mistreatment. 0/10 - Would not recommend.
