“I was interested in refinancing my mobile home that's coming up in May, and I found out community west was the only one in town that can provide the service for mine that's built before 76 after lots of research. My bank advisor and I both spoke to Will on the phone, and we both agreed Will was knowledgeable, professional and very patient with our questions. When I came in to meet him, he drew out the rate plan and calculated all the numbers for me, including one for my current loan to compare. It was amazing how helpful and willing he was to go out of his way to get my questions answered. He also emailed me some form I might need that's not related to applying for a loan with him and offered further help. What an incredible kind gentleman, and I'll definitely apply with him when I need a loan. Thank you for all the help and advices!”

They take such good care of their people, even the little guys like me :-) Gwendolyn has been very kind and helpful to me through the many difficulties I have faced as a new business owner. Louis, the store manager is very present, responsive and he always has the answers we need :-)I also just started payroll with their partner company Paychex, and so far it has been GREAT with them as well. Again, as a new business owner, they have treated me with respect and class as well as provided me an excellent service with patience and enthusiasm.It means a lot to me, to be treated well. I had learned not to trust banks, but mechanics is different. I guess there may have been some biases too, my dad worked at Midstate for years when I was growing up (Midstate is Pre-Mechanics Bank).Anyway, TWO THUMBS UP for this branch of Mechanics Bank. ❤️ The other branches are fine too, but this branch is the best.”

“Last Friday, February 23rd, I needed to complete a transaction at Golden 1 Credit Union in Goleta. Myriad complications arose, none of which were the fault of Golden 1, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I was at the response to these complications. The kindness of Karla and her supervisor in assisting me was unparalleled. In our modern world where it is difficult to even speak to a human being let alone have a business matter handled professionally, efficiently, and courteously, Golden 1 deserves sincere praise! Karla and her supervisor stayed half an hour past closing time on a Friday evening in order to troubleshoot the problems and arrive at a resolution. Not only did they succeed, but the whole staff admired and interacted with my eight-month-old baby in the meantime, who was having a very challenging day with his teething. Many thanks to you all for taking the time to help with a smile!”

“Super friendly bankers. They always say every time I walk in. I like that the ATM's can be accessed with your Apple phone now. And you can get 5's and 20's from this location. I don't believe all locations have this option. It's within walking distance of my office which makes it the most convenient branch in my day to day. I've mostly used the ATM's. Haven't had to work with the bankers much. I want to keep it that way!!”
