This store is horrible!!! Priced wrong and overcharging on everything and won’t make it right. Then charge 5 different taxes on 1 bag of dog food ?what in the world.

I use to love Petsmart old groomers but recently they hired a new one I think her name is Stacey. TAKE YOUR DOG SOMEWHERE ELSE! Before this petsmart finally hired a new groomer I was driving to Milpas and I loved it there. My dog doesn't like haircuts but she's a shitzu so she needs them. She definitely gives a hard time but never will bark or bite at you only thing is she will take her away away that's all. At the SB petsmart she would be fully groomed every nicely cut. Meanwhile when I started taking her to the Goleta one I informed Stacey my dog is nervous but she's not aggressive. She took my dog in and when I picked her up after Stacey informs me that my dog is too difficult for her to groom her legs and paws. I paid for nail service and I did not receive it but Stacey still made me pay for all services. Last month I took my dog to get groomed I have a 4 month old so I cant really bath her like before. Her allergies act up during this time so I let Stacey know but she viewed it all as flea bites when really my dog gets so itchy she bites herself which only makes her worse. I've been dealing with this since she was a puppy. Stacey clearly didn't want to take her in but the manager said to give her an oat bath and flea medicine. My dog got taken in and 2hrs later Stacey calls me saying she doesn't feel comfortable proceeding. When I went to pick her up my dog wasn't at Petsmart anymore instead they took her to the vet without even asking me or informing me at all. I was really upset since 1. I have taken her to the vet for this specific reason and the only thing I could do was have her wear a cone and allow them to heal on their own since it was my own dog making her skin bleed. 2. My dog has anxiety which I told Stacey as well in the pre check in. The manager told me I wouldn't have to pay anything that my service was covered by them. Stacey kept insisting I make an appointment with her in advance so in 2 weeks she can cut her hair but at this time I'm tired of paying for service that she does not meet. Later that day I receive a voicemail from Stacey saying she needs my address for billing records which idk why she needs that since I did not need to pay, petsmart paid my bill. Definitely take your dog somewhere else otherwise you will get mediocre service just because the groomer doesn't want to put up with difficulties. Santa Barbara petsmart always left my dog looking amazing and never chopped off take your dog here and they will be left with an uneven haircut. My dog was left looking like she just came back from a fight she didn't win.

Take care of your Betta fish or don't carry them. Disgraceful lack of care or unwillingness for the corporation to pay an employee to take care of the fish, just sell them. They are tropical fish requiring 78 degree water,actively filtered, and at least a couple gallons. not room temp cups. I saw many frozen to death and along with that comes this weird rotting of fins and a lot of them are fully rotting in the cups BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL fish so misrepresented by these shops and treated so poorly. These fish have personally and are smart, treated worse than goldfish - who are just monsters literally.

Took my 4yr old Yorkie to get groomed and Stacy did an amazing job, pays attention to detail and is very friendly.

I went in for worm medication and the store was being restocked it was right before Close and Valarie the store manager helped me find the right warming medication and how much to give because it requires some math. Turns out my dog did not have worms at all, he had just gotten into some chicken feed and the grain looked like worms and had I spent a little bit more time investigating the item instead of googling I would have saved myself $40 but I do want to recommend the store and how nice everyone was so thank you too Valarie and her staff, it was a great experience and everyone there deserves a raise!

Their policy is more dogs in the kennel the better. Better off going to a private Groomer who will actually put time into your pooch.

This is the 3rd time I have tried to get a groom for my husky, this most recent time the Groomers were afraid to bathe him due to thinking they would bite them.... a muzzle would have sufficed but they refused, he has never bitten anyone ever as my niece and nephews stick their fingers in his mouth regularly. TERRIBLE SERVICE

This Petsmart is brightly lit, clean, neat and the cashier was very friendly and efficient. There is 99% dog and cat essentials here in this smaller store. For Guinea pigs/small pet, there is no paper bedding, but had a great deal on pellet food.

This location is so small. The only live animals they have are the fish and crickets. I don’t like how everything is always so expensive. Buying from Walmart is cheaper. Their clearance section was whack too. There was a thing in front of it so I couldn’t even safely get to it to look at the cat stuff. I wouldn’t come here again. It was pretty boring. Wish they had other live animals. The fish were cool to look at though!

Incredibly pleasantly surprised! I just had the best experience with their groomer. A little background, I have had dogs all my life and dogs that need grooming. I am fairly new to the area (2-1/2yrs) and have tried a couple of different groomers. I am not one to write a negative reviews so I have not but I have left both of those groomers for specific reasons - anyhow, I went to Petsmart on the recommendation of a neighbor. So - the good stuff - Stacey, the groomer was very dog intuitive. My dog is extremely shy so just going along with the flow is not his nature, I understand that but the wonderful thing is that Stacey understood that as well. She was knowledgeable and communicative in her approach and set proper expectations. Long story short - I have found my forever groomer. I would have never expected such quality at a chain store but am so appreciative that they clearly have standards when hiring especially for such a niche job. Thank you Petsmart, thank you Stacey. Henry and I will see you soon!

I took my dog in for a for 63 USD luxury upgrade bath, and got the whole works nail buffing, teeth brushing face wash etc. Service was fast and friendly, but my dog came out still a little dirty, his nails were still relatively long, he has this irritated bright red area on his hind legs now and he was very stressed by the end of his service. Perhaps it was because my dog is a big and heavy one. Regardless I don't recommend getting serviced here.

Very pleasant people there. There were several folks there to help including a trainer and trainee working the ? area.All the fishes looked healthy and Happy.
