“I finally “broke up” with CVS after years of frustration—and I expected switching pharmacies would be more of the same. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

My prescriptions are accurate and ready on time. One of our family’s medications is for a serious condition, and every month I used to pray it would be filled before we ran out. More than once, I had to drive all the way to Oxnard just to get it.

This month, I picked up my son’s medication—no partials, no delays, no second location. Just the full order, ready and waiting. I hadn’t realized how much stress that constant uncertainty caused until it was gone.

And when there’s a medical concern, the pharmacist actually talks with me—and does so with genuine warmth and kindness.”

“The pharmacist at the Goleta Target location, Lina, went the extra mile and was extremely helpful in navigating a seriously difficult situation concerning my wife’s prescription on 12/16. My wife’s complex prescription had encountered a systematic error on the final day of her deadline and was unable to go through as originally planned. In order to prevent my wife from having to restart the extensive prescription evaluation process (if she missed this deadline), Lina spent an extra 30-40 minutes working with the prescription agency and working through a number of obstacles to ensure we could retrieve my wife’s highly needed prescription. She absolutely saved us in a dire time of need and we could not be more thankful for her taking the extra time to ensure we were taken care of and did not have to go through another extensive process. We will absolutely continue to use this CVS location located in the Goleta Target, as we have never received such careful and considerate attention with any other pharmacist or pharmacy.”

“CVS is my go-to for Covid vaccines, since they seem to have them before other providers. While I'm there, I often find and purchase other things that I need and often find things I wasn't looking for but bought. Prices are competitive and they have a wide range of items.”

“Thank you CVS pharmacists and employees for taking care of my families needs. My anger and exasperation is with the corporate offices and officers for driving patrons crazy in your schemes to make your more and more money. My doctors and I definitely do not want a three month supply of any medications. Stop texting patrons with these text, stop the for permission to fill medication that the patient is no longer taking and most all stop putting your dictated employees in the line of fire because CVS corporate is behaving like it more interested profits than human beings. Any text I get other than concerning mediation that I or my doctors requested, I will consider it harassment. A patrons texts should only be used to inform the person that their medication is ready, that the pharmacist is waiting for refill instructions from your doctor or there is some type of delay. Better a conduit to communicate back and forth with the pharmacist to solve a problem with a prescription. Your phone system is beyond broken and your app does allow messaging to pharmacists. It is easier to answer a text than take a phone call. You are waistline your employees precious time because patients do not have easy and reasonable way to communicate a problem, concern or prescription problem with the pharmacist. CVS Corporate still gets O stars!”

“Excellent, helpful, highly professional pharmacy staff. Was able to fill a prescription while in Santa Barbara without issue. These other reviews must be catching them on very bad days, nothing at all like the pharmacy I experienced. My thanks again.”

“Been using this pharmacy for 9 months and I personally have never had issues. Wait times can be a little long depending on when you go, but it’s always been very simple and easy for me. For the actual store, similar but I just grab what I want and do self-checkout.”

“I’m not a big fan of any CVS however I love their rewards program because they offer such great coupons every month. Of course, in the last few months I’ve been to almost every location in town to try to resolve the problem I’m having which is I’m unable to use any of my beloved coupons! When I point it out to the cashier they always respond with questions that seem to point the blame at myself rather than the system. Today at this location in Calle Real I encountered the same ol problem and got asked the same annoying questions. Right before I was to leave my purchase and walk out once again the cashier called over a manager to see if she could help. Oh wow! Finally someone thought outside the box! The manager on duty Silvia Angel (really!) tried the usual routes and quickly understood that something was wrong with the system. She made a call to troubleshoot the issue and was unfortunately unsuccessful. However they did push the issue to higher ups to try to fix the problem once and for all. I’m still waiting for the results but I’m just so happy that someone finally seemed like they genuinely cared enough to take the time to at least TRY! That in itself deserves the five stars! Thank you Silvia for taking the time to do what you could in your power to help me. She also honored my coupons with an override (something that I was told didn’t exist) so I could finally take home my purchases! Regardless of the outcome I’m impressed that there is customer service and support at this CVS location! Thank you!”
