“This is a great little pharmacy, sort of old fashioned. They are pretty much just a pharmacy, so you don't have rows of groceries and hardware and stuff (though there was a selection of the most useful over the counter medicines too). The surgeon gave us a paper prescription, which the national chain pharmacy wouldn't accept, but the Medicine Shoppe took the time to read the prescription and fill it. Then, the pharmacist clearly explained the times for doses and whether to take with food. You probably wouldn't go to see a doctor in the middle of a grocery store, so you might prefer this place, as do I.”

“I love San Ysidro pharmacy! They have the best service and are very knowledgeable about prescriptions. They also offer compounded prescriptions that are not available anywhere else.”

“I changed Rx insurance carriers just so I could stop using CVS and support Federal Drug; a wonderful local business. I can't tell you how happy I am to have made the switch. I now communicate with a knowledgeable person who takes a personal interest in my well-being. Everyone with whom I have had contact is there to help. Even thought it may cost me a little more to patronize Federal Drug, you get what you pay for and my research and my limited experience demonstrates that axiom to be very true here.”

“This review is specifically about Christina who has gone out of her way to help me with prescriptions that my insurance company would not cover. She found coupons for me and has been using them for every refill. She is so kind, patient and resourceful. She also has helped arrange for deliveries. She makes this pharmacy 5 star worthy.”

“The front desk staff, nurses, doctors, and security guard are amazing. My husband was running late to his appointment last Friday. The security guard was so accommodating in helping us get to the check-in counter. The front desk was helpful as well by making sure we would be seen, even if we we're running late. The nurses and doctors we're so pleasant and understanding and really took the time to listen and help with my husband's situation. We are certainly going to return in the future for all help and smiles we recieved during our stay.”

“The Milpas CVS is the best! The people in the pharmacy are very helpful and kind to work with. They really care about being there to help the people that frequent the pharmacy. The people working checkout are always helpful and friendly.”

“I have had all my and our family's Rx's filled at Ralph's for many years. The pharmacists and staff always go the extra mile, answering questions, searching for discounts and the lowest price, orders are filled promptly, they are all friendly and knowledgeable. I can go on, but I will just add that I have witnessed some of the staff calling MD's on behalf of customers who do speak English and advocating on their behalf.”

“Went to the Pharmacy at the Mesa Rite Aid today. My Mom (89) had been prescribed a medication over a week ago and she had mistakenly asked for it to be sent from her online pharmacy. It hasn’t arrived yet so the doctor called it in to Rite Aid for us. They were extremely helpful and went over and above to get us the medication and even found a very substantial discount. A huge THANK YOU to the pharmacist and techs who were working today. (I wish I’d gotten their names)”

“This has been my pharmacy for several years, and every time I call or go in, the folks at the pharmacy counter are helpful and pleasant. Having done quite a bit of customer service desk work myself, I know how challenging it can be. I imagine it's more difficult when dealing with customers who are in a bad mood because they're not feeling well themselves or because they're acting as caregivers, which can be so stressful, so kudos to the Carillo CVS pharmacy staff for handling it all so well.”

“This 5-Star review is primarily because of one guy in the pharmacy: the pharmacist Suraj.I know it's a smaller store and that some folks have had less than stellar experiences from time to time, but the good tales should be told too.Suraj has worked so exceptionally hard to keep refilling a life-saving prescription that is incredibly difficult to keep in stock. Supply is lower than demand nationwide, and I've never had so much trouble and stress filling a monthly prescription before. So much so, that in spite of my love for all the great pharmacy folks at the Mesa Rite Aid, I finally had to move a couple prescriptions over to Suraj at CVS. He seems to be the only guy who can fill them, even though there have been delays. In talking to both of the pharmacists at Rite Aid (the awesome Negar) and CVS (Suraj), I learned that the system at CVS allows Suraj to do something Negar has told me she cannot. It allows him to look at the supply chain and see what's in the system. At least that's how I understood it. Apparently Rite Aid is unable to do that so you're left just waiting and wondering if I high demand prescription will ever get filled. ??‍♂️Suraj is warm on the phone, really works hard to get these low-supply prescriptions in before I run out (I'm "lucky" enough to have 2 that have national supply issues), and phones to update me when necessary. I wish I could praise him to his boss, but have still yet to find a way to do so.Especially since COVID, the work that pharmacists have to do has got to be at least 2 or 3 times more difficult than it was before. I just appreciate how hard he tries to make one customer happy and properly supplied with what the doctor ordered. I'm sure I'm not the only one he does that with.Thank you, Suraj.I hope someone calls your boss's attention to this and that he gives you a bonus or a RAISE! ??”

“These guys deserve five stars! The pharmacy staff is nice and polite. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a prescription there. The story itself is bright and very clean. I like the carpeted floors. They have a huge selection of everything including food and wine! I've never been to a CVS where they have such high quality wine. I like these guys! They are not the closest CVS to me but go over there because they are worth the drive”

“New management must have taken over as this place has turned around quite a bit. The cashiers are knowledgeable and friendly. The manager is helpful and the shelves are mostly stocked instead of being empty. Still quit a bit of vagrants harassing the staff and stealing but at least the items you come for are available”

“Doctors have been great since day 1, for the most part front staff is great it has been on few occasions that we receive substandard quality service. With that said keep in mind that the front staff is not representative of the doctors here.”

“After months of trying to get Sansum to schedule my treatment that was approved by my insurance, they passed me over to Coram. Everyone at Coram was professional, solid and actually called me back. Each person I talked to knew my story and needs, and I was scheduled within a week. In addition, Sheri Dirksen (nurse) came to my home and made the infusion simple, quick and painless. I am thrilled to have found Coram and will continue to work with them in the future. Thank you!”

“I'm surprised that there aren't more positive reviews here though I have had a few issues in the past, I think it had to do with an overly overwhelmed pharmacist, so I understand his frustration, and I don't hold it to him, but recently, my trips to this pharmacy have been very successful and pleasant! I wanted to give a big shout out to the pharmacy team over there. At this specific CVS, they do their due diligence, and they practice kindness and compassion, and I think that those are golden and deserve praise. I've given them five stars because of my most recent visit being so positive they deserve to get a good review.I hope they keep up the kindness and compassion !!! because it really makes all the difference, shout out to all those working the pharmacy counter! Thank you for making my day brighter :) keep up the good work!”

“Someone I know needed a ride to get a few things from drugstore. That person specifically wanted to go to this specific CVS downtown Santa Barbara although other drugstores were closer. Once inside I saw why- all the staff treated him warmly, like he was family and they were professional in providing services and getting him the medical supplies he needed and getting him the discounts he had. I was very impressed!”

“The pharmacy team, Surai, Mariana, Vivian and Brian provide good service. Rarely is there a line to wait and parking is easy behind the store, free for 90 minutes. This store seems well managed and though smaller than some stores it is well stocked. Their Carepass monthly deal provides good values, discounts, sometimes with coupons for 30% off most items except RX's.”

“CVS pharmacy 5 stars store but at this particular location the pharmacy department, medication drop off or pick up extremely busy wait time 30 or more minutes any day or time, wonder if CVS company is aware of the condition at this particular location understaffed why keep on advertise on flu shot etc. while the pharmacy department is short of staff and is barely able to help the customer. The pharmacy technicians are knowledgeable and put a lot of effort into helping customers, obviously, not enough staff.”
