“Retro Respawn is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves retro gaming, collectibles, and trading cards. The store has an awesome selection of classic video games, consoles, and memorabilia, plus a great variety of trading cards for collectors and players alike. Everything is well organized, and it's easy to spend a lot of time browsing through the inventory.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They were helpful in answering questions and made the whole experience enjoyable. Whether you're hunting for a rare retro game, adding to your trading card collection, or just looking for a nostalgic trip down memory lane, Retro Respawn is definitely worth a visit. Great selection, fair prices, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!”

“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives thriller novels, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble in Calabasas at The Commons is a beautiful location.
The store has a strong two-story design with escalators leading up to the second level. The layout feels open and inviting, with a warm interior that makes it easy to settle in and spend time browsing.
One of the standout features is the manga section. It’s large and well stocked, and it really draws attention when you walk through. The mystery and thriller wall is also nicely set up, with a good range of titles and a clean presentation.
The café is a great space, with a mural of famous authors that adds character and makes it a comfortable place to sit and read. I always enjoy seeing my own book on the shelf here, which adds a personal touch to the visit.
The surrounding Commons area is upscale and well maintained, and parking is fairly easy with plenty of space available.
I also spent some time in the romance section while working on The Maui Desire Romance Series, and it’s a well-organized area that fits nicely alongside the rest of the store.
Overall, it’s a bright, welcoming Barnes & Noble in Calabasas with a great layout, strong selection, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to come back.”
“I ordered a couple of toys, and I received the order promptly. However when I open the box, one of the toys was damaged.
I contacted the flashing blinking light company, and they responded right away. They was so nice and friendly to deal with.
They sent me a replacement toy right away. Is there such a pleasure to deal with”

“I was here last weekend for the PSA event, and this place was solid. It’s more than just a regular comic shop. They have comics, toys, TCG stuff, and enough space to actually host events without it feeling thrown together. The shop had a good collector vibe, and it felt like a place built for people who are really into the hobby, not just casual browsing.
The PSA event was the main reason I went, and I appreciated having something like that available locally instead of having to deal with everything by mail. Overall, cool shop, good setup, and definitely a place I’d come back to for comics, cards, or future events.”

“One of few authentic hobby shops left!! It's rare you find a knowledgeable, friendly and stocked spot anymore. This one is keeping the hobby alive from anything RC, Model, Die-Cast, and accessories related. Their off road course is unlike anything else we have in town, hours of fun for all ages and skill levels. Plus they price match any competitor, can't beat that value. “Lots of cool finds here almost everything Anime. The employees are real kind. The store is a bit on the smaller side. They have a lot of little figures displayed outside on a case which has signs that read "don't touch" Now it's a bit hard not to since lots of the items on display outside of box don't have prices. The items that are in the Box's do. You would need to continuously ask the employees to tell you a price since you can't touch the item to check. A lot of the items are hard to find and the prices are a bit high. Nice just to walk around and look at. If you do take kids in there make sure you keep a good close eye on them since lots of stuff is out.”

“I just want to share the excellent and truly grateful experience I had today at the Five Below store in Granada Hills.
Yesterday, while I was about to get gas, I realized I didn’t have my wallet with me. I searched everywhere—at home and at work—but couldn’t find it. Later, I remembered that I had visited the Granada Hills Five Below on Wednesday evening.
This morning, I called the store and asked if they could check to see if someone had turned in a Hello Kitty wallet. The person who answered, Stephanie, was incredibly kind and helpful. She asked me to hold while she checked, and shortly after, she confirmed they had my wallet safely stored.
I can’t express enough how much I appreciate that my wallet was kept safe. Inside were my work credit cards, personal debit cards, Universal Member Pass, and some cash—and everything was still there.
Five Below has always been one of my favorite stores, but now the Granada Hills location is officially my favorite! Special thanks to Stephanie for her kindness, professionalism, and truly great customer care.
