“Today is July 17th 2026 and we went to stater brothers and bought our normal groceries. The lady that I remember most. I think her name was Ellie or Elsa. She's short well, she's short compared to me. I'm like 511, so everybody's short to me. But I would say she's like 5 foot 25 foot 4 and I don't mean that in a bad way. But just to distinguish who she is and she had long brown hair and glasses, and she was very nice... and she was actually walking around the store. Asking people directly, hi, how are you? Do you need help finding anything? And I was so taken aback by that I've been going to that state or brothers for about 10 years now. And everyone is really nice there. But nobody has ever like gone out of their way to ask me, can I help you find something? And I know the store really well. Because I've been going there for forever. But I was like, wow, and then she rang me out, and she was just as nice and polite. It was just it was like a breath of fresh air. It's been a long time since we've gotten like customer service. Where we're like, oh okay? That's noticeable the last person who really stood out to me was another lady. I think her name was Reneta, or Rishana... i don't know I can't remember her name but she was so good.She always made me smile when I went in there.And this lady is doing the same thing.It was just really refreshing...”

“While produce quality isn't the same as it used to be, it HAS improved in recent weeks, although you DO have to search, you can find some good items. Their prices, tho high, are holding, and that's a good thing.
Both my local stores are suffering from chronic staffing shortages it seems- but the checkers pressed into bagging do GREAT at properly placing items !
( but those wafer thin paper bags...ugh )”

“Have been looking for a good meat market, driving over half an hour. Finally tried this place here in the town I live in, Fontana. The service was very good, everyone was kind and helpful. The place is very very clean. I got carne asada which they marinade on the spot and seal up for you. This was by far, the best asada I’ve ever had. They use USDA prime, and for prime it’s actually a great price (I paid $16.99lb). They also had a great deal on chicken adobado so I got that too. The meat was so tender and juicy. My new go-to!!”
“I love shopping at Stater Bros. I feel they could've had more check out lines available at this location at the time instead of just 3. The lines were backed up so it took a while to leave. So for that i give a 4 star review.”

“Have you guys never been here to the Portalis? You guys are missing out it’s a hidden gem here in the city of San Bernardino. They got some bomb food and on Saturday and Sundays you can come and get me noodles. They serve with homemade tortillas love the atmosphere love the customer service really recommend you to come check them out. Come check out Los Portales for the Best prime USDA approved meets. I always come here to get my meat and get all my ingredients to make a good salsa they’re marinated meat is fire you guys so if you’re looking for something to barbecue come through here, Los Portales plus the customer service is great and I love the atmosphere and they also sell food so it’s a one stop shop for all your needs”
“I come here often for the weekly deals like 4 lbs of cheese for $12, 4 bags of chips for $10 (yeah, I know I’m gluttonous),
10 single burritos for $0.50 each, $5 for 1lb of ground beef, 4 bell peppers for $5, and sometimes for the hot foods like 8 pieces of fried chicken for $8. Some of the workers there recognize me because of my common purchases and it feels nice in there. Workers are respectful and they usually greet me whenever I pass by them and if there is a problem they are very accommodating and they solve my problems.”
“I shop at a Stater Brothers near me at least once a week. I haven't been to this one in Colton before, but it's a much smaller store with less in the bakery aisle and the wine aisle and even the produce aisle. They do have the fresh cut up produce if you're looking for that. I've added a picture of the bakery which only has those cakes and sweets, and there was a bin of bollo rolls near the front but that was it. Employees are very helpful.”

“Of all the Stater Brothers I have been to, this is the cleanest one thus far and I visited to at least 10 locations. When I first moved to the Ranch, I wanted to make sure there was a supermarket close by in the community. Back in 2019, I met the store manager, who was well into 25 years plus with Staters. He greeted everyone who walked thru those doors. He knew just about everyone who came thru that store. Very friendly and gave the big store community service vibe. The produce are always fresh and so were the meats and cuts.I must say that I can depend on this location to provide the best service every day.”

“I would love to share my experience today , Mikey was so kind and he went out of his way to help my grandmother who is disabled. He also helped her by grabbing her groceries she couldn’t reach . and helped her find the things on her list ? Larisa and Ángel were also very kind and generous they asked if we found everything and every time we come in they are very helpful Angel bagged everything nice and neat I would recommend this store . These are my two favorite checkers and key. ????”
“Now it's very hard to write a review for a grocery store because what do you say, I came there ... got my groceries ... it was good. And most of the time, if you do see a review on the grocery store it's because someone was angry and left a bad one just because something without a place or someone had a bad experience. Most people never post good reviews about the time that they had at the grocery store. With that being said, I have to say at this Stater Bros there are two employees that always make my day great. One of them is Mr. Johnny, I think he's a cashier always in the front or at least. I always see him in the front And the other is a young lady whose name I don't know, so I'll just call her Miss Positive. Both of these employees are always so energetic and friendly It almost feels like Stater Bros started using the same process to hire people as chick fil and starbucks ........... Watch out Vons, Stater Bros is stepping up”

“I went in and got a burrito con asada, with green and red salsa to accompany it, all i can say it hit the spot and tasted authentic and rich such as a lonchera style burrito should taste like. I recommend trying this spot, as it takes a lot to get that authentic type feel to burritos and a lonchera style type taste to it, i recommend the asada burrito, it definitely did not disappoint.?”
