“Finally a carnicería that is close to home! Today my family and I stopped by and wanted to pick up few meats to try out. We've always wanted to stop by and try out this place since it's close to home. We picked up 3 types of cuts, prime ranchera , tasajo, and costillas . All were very good however the prime tasajo was the winner for us overall:) . For the price I believe we paid was a little under $65 for 5Lb of the cuts but to me it is fairly priced. Inside the carnicería was very clean. That is something I can appreciate because many other carnicerías have looked dirty or had a bad smell which would directly correlate to the quality of the meat. I can let you know Los Portales is not like those carnicerías:) . Also inside the carnicería is like a mini market! I'm glad they carried certain produces that you can pick up right then and there. They pretty much have everything for your Saturday or Sunday family carne asada .The staff inside were really nice and welcoming. One of the lady's over the counter was really sweet. I appreciate her explaining what meats they have. Overall the quality of the meats were very good. Pricing is fair and the location is convenient. Hopefully more IE locals get to try our new favorite Carnicería out soon”

“090/2024 Although I come here sometimes at this Colton location I haven't really wrote a review . Today was an exceptionally exceptional trip to the store. I had a firsthand experience by being welcomed with a free sample of tortilla chips and salsa. Store always clean and merchandise are neatly stocked on shelves. I came at this particular branch for their sale of BARILLA pasta for 4 for $5. On the shelf were only 2 boxes so I was looking for someone to help just when a gentleman in a nice white shirt with necktie came out from one of the check out stand. I think he sensed that I have a question, he was very approachable so I asked him if they had maybe more of the pasta that I needed and he immediately took one of the box and came back with a big box and had 16 in them ! Thanked him so much for his help! I didn't get to see his name tag but saw his poster when I exited, nice job as an outstanding Manager ..thanks again Mr. Garcia! There were more checkout stands open than customers which is so amazing that I was done as quick as I got helped ..”

“I really love this store. Although I do wish they had the sushi guys there,the fact that every employee that works there is absolutely amazing, helpful,and personable makes up for it. The bakery has a lady that is so amazing she should own her own shop!I highly recommend getting your cakes here! The meat department guys are always so sweet and make you feel like family, and the checkers remember your name. This is a true neighborhood store.”
