Savemart is an excellent local grocery supplier and friendly staff and helpful employees. The store is always clean and the remodel in the freezer section is nice. They find good quality produce, meat, dairy and a great place to gather groceries. Checkout line is rarely long and the store is usually not super busy, so you can get in and out quickly. Friendly and courteous atmosphere is enjoyable. A few brand are often on sale, saving a couple of bucks. Although understaffed, the staff are happy to assist all grocery needs.
The ice is TAXED. Therefore you can NOT purchase frozen water with SNAP/EBT benefits.

Great deals and the prices are as painful as other places in town

OK seriously love their Homemade Chicken pot pies are the best. I get them for my lunch on Night Shift at work. There's plenty of other available groceries that are great to eat & cook from there.
