“This is such a charming little spot on South Main Street! I’ve been coming here for years to send packages and handle mailing errands, and Susan and her team are always incredibly kind and helpful.
Most recently, I had to ship several fragile handmade items to family across the country. I was feeling a little overwhelmed trying to figure out how to pack everything safely, but Susan took the time to walk me through the best way to protect each item and even helped me find the right sized boxes and padding. Everything arrived perfectly!
It’s rare to find service this personal anymore. The shop is cozy, well stocked, and they even have some lovely fair-trade gifts you can browse while you wait. I’ll always choose this place over a big chain. ?”

Unless you use the winery to ship your wine, not every shipping store has the license. Took us a few phone calls to find SRCP.”

“I walked into the office and saw that all the employees were with a customer so I continued to wait patiently. An employee who was clearly off the clock and on her way out the door took the time to show me that since I already had a label I could use the automated system. She took my box and scanned it, showed me where to place it and made sure I got the receipt. All off the clock and on her way out the door. She didn’t need to do that, and no one should expect her to, but she was helping both myself and her coworkers. Lovely experience.”

“The Monte Rio Post Office is a small post office serving Monte Rio. It’s located by the Northwood golf course halfway between Guerneville and Monte Rio. There’s plenty of parking as well as handicap parking. They have PO Box and can’t handle all the normal things at a post office does except for passports. You have to go to Guerneville for your passport.”

From the community board to the book exchange and the friendliest postal workers it feels like a "family-run", real community centered post office. In old days the post office was a center of community welfare, and for sure this one remains so too, all from the care of those who work there. Thank you!!! PS.
