“Been a customer at Wells Fargo for years. They go out of their way to help me out. One time I was short on money for rent if I got a money order and they waved the 5$ fee so I could make rent. I didn't have any checks at the time so it was a situation I appreciated. In the past I have felt a little out of place because at times I wear cat ears and eccentric clothing, they accept me and I don't even have much money. They care about their customers more than they care about profits; at least that's my experience at this branch.”

“My compliments to Vathana Prak (Ms. V), Senior Universal Banker at the Grover Beach branch of Mechanics Bank. I had gotten poor service at Mechanics Bank in Pismo Beach and in Arroyo Grande, where tellers have obviously been told to STOP any customer heading for the banking services rep area. That results in customers having to explain the issue they need addressed, which is a stupid waste of customers' time since the tellers can't solve those issues. So I tried the Grover Beach branch, where Ms. V., Senior Universal Banker, warmly greeted me. I had received an unintelligible letter from Mechanics Bank about a HELOC. Within a few minutes Ms. V had solved the problem - with expertise, experience, and a nice sense of humor on top of it.”
