Pismo Beach Golf Course is a stunning 9-hole, all par-3 executive style course located directly on the beach along the central California coast. It is a nice, quiet course with a beautiful layout and fantastic atmosphere. The condition of the course is superb and good, though the greens could use some improvement and are a bit bumpy. The putting green also needs better upkeep. It is suitable for novice and beginner golfers, excellent for first-timers, and holds interest for experienced players, though it falls short for intermediate to advanced skills. The prices are reasonable, decent, superb, and inexpensive. Walking the course costs $18 for 9 holes, while renting a golf cart costs $33. Golf club rentals include half sets. The gift shop offers a wide selection at incredible prices. The food options are limited and outdated. The staff is friendly and really nice. This public golf course does not require tee times in advance, allowing for flexibility and a quick in, quick out experience. It can be wet after heavy rains. The location next to the ocean is fantastic with great weather and a pleasant breeze most of the time. It is a gem and a great place to golf, promising a fun visit that will not disappoint in the cost-quality ratio.
This is a nice par 3 course. Great weather most of the time. Friendly staff. The prices are reasonable. I just wish they didn't charge full price on the electric golf carts for a second trip around the course. I will be back in August.
