The Blacklake Golf Resort Bar & Grille was a beautiful layout with dramatic holes and a beautiful course. The Oaks and Lakes courses were in fair shape, with greens in good condition and some greens OK. Fairways were cut too short on some holes, with daisies and thick bumpy fairways and gopher holes. Staff were friendly and the pace of play was easy. The resort make weekend music venues outdoors, a little music venue, food and beverage available, delicious food and drinks, and parking spaces to accommodate larger crowds. Courses were challenging but fun and certainly drive there again.
Great historic golf club. Residents have a gem here, hard to get morning tee time.

I was just caddy for my father in law. He played with his friends on the Oaks and The lakes courses. The oaks were in fair shape. Greens were punched but good shape. Lakes was in better shape. The fairways looked cut too short. Greens were in good condition.

In addition to the golf course, they sponsor weekend music venues outdoors. Food and beverage are available and they make parking spaces to accommodate larger crowds.
