J R's Auto Care Center is a highly recommended auto repair shop known for its great service and wonderful people. The shop is described as the bigger auto repair in town with more equipment on hand. Customers consistently report friendly, quick, and professional service, often getting squeezed in without an appointment for urgent issues like flat tires, battery replacements, or alternator failures. The mechanics are praised for quickly diagnosing and fixing problems, even complicated ones. Many reviews highlight the business going above and beyond ordinary customer service, especially for vacationers or those in emergency situations far from home. The team works customers into packed schedules and provides gracious assistance. The atmosphere is noted as very friendly, with staff members offering helpful advice and exceptional courtesy. While there has been a for sale sign observed, the shop remains a trusted and highly recommended local resource for auto care and repairs.
Super friendly and helpful with a leaking tire on a roadtrip. Very reasonable prices, and very patient with us. Really saved us!

Thank you to JR's team for being available on short notice. Rolling in with a flat and no spare tire on a rental car limping along hwy 1 for several miles we were extremely thankful the help JR's team provided.
