Hours: Sea Horse Ranch offers horseback riding experiences along coastal bluffs, through a creek, and onto the beach. The trails provide beautiful and pretty scenery. The horses are healthy, well-cared for, and each has its own character, though they are not super relaxed and require some control, making prior experience beneficial for riders. The guides maintain high expectations for safety and group management. While some guides are great, very nice, and contribute to a peaceful, safe, and enjoyable ride, one instructor is noted for being incredibly rude, sarcastic, and having no manners. The staff primarily speaks Spanish with a little English. A notable drawback is that personal photography is not allowed; a photographer takes pictures along the way, offering all photos for $75 or five for $45, but the selection process happens on-site with slow computers and no online option to cherrypick later. The ride is fun and can make visitors want to return, though some wish for more free time or varied trails instead of a single-file walk on the beach.
