This was one of the better horse back riding experiences I've had! The expectations of the guides were high, and made sure the riders stayed safe and with the group. There's something really amazing about riding a horse on a beach!

It was the nicest and prettiest horse ride I ever had: over the coastal bluff, through the creek (yes, you may get wet easily, as it is half-body deep), and finally to the beach. Horses look healthy and well-cared, each with character, which we found fun. However, it is better for you to have some experience with the horses, as they are not super relaxed, and you need to control them from time to time :) Guides only speak Spanish and a little English, so be prepared. The only drawback is that they don't allow us to take pictures. They have a photographer who makes photos over the way, but he doesn't filter them, thus offering all pictures for $75 or 5 for $45. Suggestion: The issue is that you should decide which photos to get right there, and their PCs are slow. There is no online service where I can cherrypick and buy selected photos online - that I would do if they offered.

Instructor lady is incredibly rude. She has no manners and ruins the first experience. She made me want to leave lol. She makes faces and cuts you off while you’re talking to her. I’m 100% everyone else agrees. what a bitter lady. She’s sarcastic & deserves to get knocked out lol. Workers are great and very nice though! Had fun the whole ride, and did the hour and a half ride. Would go again, they just need to fire the lady in front lol.

Sea horse ranch cancelled our booking and never gave us a refund. They never answer their calls or respond to emails.

I remember seahorse ranch for many many years now. I am now 64 years old and used to go horseback riding at this place with my daddy when I was like 6 years.. I rode a little rowdy chubby horse called porky.. Daddy and I would go riding very often one time we went on the beach, but I like going on the hills on the trails in the hills!! Excellent

The lady instructor was rude. I wouldn't recommend them in the least. Also in order to make sure people don't take photo they lie and force you put your phone in the car which is unsafe as they don't have dedicated parking. I purchased their photos but these dishonest strategies for making a bit more is rather disgusting.

I had a great time, I wish we had a little free time when we got on the beach but we had to stay in single line and walk a little and then turn around and go back. But it was beautiful day. It made me want to go back again. But then again if it's the same trail it might not be as fun. First they had more fun things to do while your horseback riding

Such a wonderful and worthwhile experience! All staff were helpful and friendly. My friend and I did the 1.5 hour trail and beach ride. The trail ride was beautiful and picturesque. Keep in mind no phones are allowed, but with that being said, professional photos are taken throughout the ride for extra purchase; we received well over a 100 photos, and it is well worth it!!! Loved every moment.

The ride is gorgeous! We did the 1.5 hour ride and enjoyed the views from the bluffs, a small forested area, and of course, the beach itself. The horses knew their jobs and were easy to work with. They put my daughter on a gentle, easy-going gelding named Larry who was a great match for her skill level. On the ride we encountered cars, bicycles, barking dogs, and lots of people but the horses weren’t phased by any of it. The guides did a great job keeping the group together and we enjoyed getting to trot a bit, which usually isn’t an option on these kinds of rides. Most people in the group were beginners and I appreciated that the staff was safety-oriented.Important to keep in mind that you must arrive 30 minutes before departure for paperwork and orientation. It says so multiple times in the confirmation email. They are also very strict about not bringing anything with you, especially cell phones. I figured it would be ok to have mine as long as I kept it in a zippered pocket the whole time, but I was harshly told that was NOT allowed. So, be prepared to stow everything in your car, but it’s a good idea to wear something with zippered pockets for your keys. The cars are parked right outside the ranch entrance in a pretty well-trafficked area and no one had any issues with them being broken into.As others have mentioned you can’t take any photos, but there is a professional photographer who took excellent photos of all the riders! At the end of the ride you can view your photos and purchase some if you wish. They are $45 for 5 photos or $75 for all (usually 100+ photos), on a flash drive. I loved the photos he got of my daughter with a big grin, enjoying her ride on Larry (not posted here, but very cute).Would definitely do it again!

What a fun activity! I used to volunteer at a stable when I was a preteen and haven't been on a horse since (32 now). I was so nervous at first that my arm cramped from holding on to the saddle so hard but after a while I felt much more comfortable. I liked the mix of scenery, the pace of the ride, and of course my horse Larry! I know at first it feels like a bummer not to bring your phone but if you're doing all the right things, in terms of safety, you won't have an opportunity to use it anyway so just be present & enjoy the ride.

The ride is very boring. Most of the trail is not even with a view but the back roads and the other half is on the beach. They do not care about your safety and most of their horses do not listen. They yell at you when their horses are the ones doing weird stuff mid ride. They just put the saddle and expect you to be perfect and pro. This was our first time riding the horses so we didn’t know better. They made the stirrup very low where we couldn’t even put our feet in it. They do not allow you to take your phone with you. Would not go here again, I would look for something else.

I had a great time riding with my Mom! They gave an easy to follow simple demonstration on how to ride the horse and how to get on and off. During the ride the guides were friendly and helpful. The horses were trained to follow the trail. My horse (Larry) followed the trail (most of the time) and was easy to control. Would go again!!! The photographer got great photos while moving on a Segway. His photos were some of the best I’ve seen. We bought them all!!! I had suck a great time and I think you should go.
