Negative 10. I am not allowed to cash a paycheck there for over $5,000. It is written by Citibank but will not honor it. Now I know why they shut down a lot if their branches. You get better service and check 2 cash than Citibank.

Citibank Hanford is a very friendly branch to deal with. How ever Citibank Corporate has seen fit to CLOSE ALL CITIBANK BRANCHES IN TULARE COUNTY. That leaves the residents of Porterville at least an hours drive in all directions to connect face to face business.

Citibank is a joke. They allowed someone to remotely access my account, add a second person to my account, and to transfer my entire life savings to my checking account and then wire transfer it to someone in New York. The day this happened I was running a 103 fever and I answered yes to one text which I thought I was saying yes to lock the account. Instead that one yes text allowed someone to financially ruin me. Citi "investigated" the situation and ultimately blamed me for not securing my account even though I strictly used the "secure" phone specific login they told me to use. Oh yeah, the branch manager assured me I would get my money back but that was a lie. So here I am, out $28,900 dollars and struggling to pay my mortgage because I assume Citi didn't want to take the insurance hit to reimburse me. Please note that my account is 25 years old and they didn't care at all about the age or good standing of the account all these years.

Tried calling a week to make appointment to open a new bank account. Well Citibank you lost my business. Horrible customer service.

Friday March 26th 2021 at 2:05pm.I came to pay my balance on my Citi Credit Card with cash and the lady that helped me told me i couldn't pay cash since i don't have a checking or savings account with them. However i could get a money order across the street or at the post office and come back?Liz was very nice but said unfortunately she couldn't take my cash that it would have to be in a form of a check or money order.Just my opinion it was kind of mind boggling that they wouldn't take my payment because it was cash???It wasn’t a problem last time i did that?

It's a good thing i bank with Mechanics Bank and i will have to deposit the cash and then pay it online.
