The customer service was lacking (woman serving us seemed quite grumpy) and could have used a sprinkle of sale but worth the experience. Portions were large and quality good. “Was looking for some outer skirt steaks and checked Google maps for a butcher shop close to Hermosa. Didn't know we recently acquired one a stones throw away. Went in, and Albert is an awesome guy. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. Picked up some marinaded pollo, which I grilled up last night. It was fantastic! I'm looking forward to picking up some outer skirts (he was out) and also trying some denver steaks. Oh, and the local beer selection was nice to see.”

“Carneceria (meat market) chicken, beef, pork, wings. Marinated and non marinated. Fresh hot food bar. tacos, burritos, ceviche. Fresh Mexican drinks, Mexican sodas and variety of Mexican candy. Only thing it's missing are Mariachis. My go to favorite is the marinated carbs asada and marinated chicken. Those two meats chopped and served in tacos will make your party complete.”

“I used to come here before college to get fresh deli meat for lunch and this store has always had Good produce and tasty meat! Love the butcher guy and the Indian guys that works at the counter are pretty funny. Love coming here for my grocery runs and it’s pretty affordable and they always got everything I need. Even the cerveza is always cold and at low prices!!! Thank you London market :)”

“This place is a place I've been coming to as a kid. So many memories and it's crazy some of the workers are still there after all these years. All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. You'll find the price higher than a grocery store but I'm going to support this local business.”

“This little cute mini market is very convenient to stop by if you don't have time to go to the super market. The meat is very fresh and they have never disappointed me or my Familia. The staff is very friendly and have great attitudes specially the (carniceros) butchers. They keep it clean and organized. Tip: buy the homemade flour tortillas they have by the cash register.”

“Like most after a good bbq, I got referred here. I have been more than a handful of times since. The meat and chicken is always good. I believe some days is better than others, however it is always good. For the most part, service is always up to par. You are normally helped right away even if there is a line as it moves pretty quickly. My last recent visit, it was empty when I walked in. The person working behind the meat counter, walked back and forth MULTIPLE times before helping me(seemed like he didn't want to help). Cashiers don't really help if you're looking for something. Despite inconsistency, in my opinion, you can not go wrong with coming here.”

Only reason to give four stars, conveniently there's a dollar tree next to it. Went there twice only because the lines at the dollar are ridiculously long. “We are staying in Manhattan Beach for a month and looked for a local butcher. Found Manhattan Meats and stopped by. It’s a combo meat market (you pay for your meat purchases at the meat counter) and a small market, so very convenient. I picked up their housemade sausage and we were very impressed, fresh and very well made and seasoned. Their steaks and 1/2 pound burgers looked amazing, as well as their fish selection. They also had natural chicken, rotisserie chicken and seasoned kebabs. Love the old-fashioned customer service.”
