“Love this meat market. I live in Long Beach and always come her for my meat. I’m never disappointed. It’s always nice and clean, meat is always fresh and tender. “This location is layout just like their La Puente store although I'm not sure if they are owned by the same person or is a franchise. Besides beef, seafood, chicken, and pork, the market offers everything you'll need for grilling outdoors, including charcoal, salsas, tortillas, and spices. They even off wagyu from Japan, Australia and tomahawk ribeye's. I've visited this location twice and have taken home USDA prime marinated carne asada and tried their chorizo sausages made specifically for grilling. The butchers and customer service gals here are friendly and accommodating. As for the quality of meats, I was impressed with the packaging, leanest, and the quality of all their proteins. They also offer yummy salsas that taste homemade. The prices are higher but in exchange you'll receive the top-quality cuts of meats and are superior to the grocery store chains. This along with the La Puente store is now my go-to stores for proteins when I'm going to grill. Definitely give them a try, you can thank me later.”

“Everything I have had from TMC has been the best…I have been a regular here since the day they opened.
My go to is always the prime filet (which my boys really enjoy as well) but I change it up and go with the grass fed ribeyes, black opal wagyu, prime NY, porterhouse and once had one of the large tomahawk steaks.
My boys and I also love the filet burgers and TMC smokehouse burgers.
The staff is very knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

“Excellent place to buy your meat if you're planning to have a party or a gathering. The meat is already marinated. I bought a little bit of everything to last me for the whole week. I found out about this place through family every time my daughter used to come over she would bring this amazing meat and we will have a barbecue I will ask her, Where this place is at. I visited a family member and I was around that area so I stopped and I'm so glad I did. Best meat.”
“Earlier this month, I visited Meat & Vino for the first time and the quality is next level! Their seasoned wings are packed with flavor, their shrimp is fresh, the raw Denver cut steak…so tender and marbled and those Korean-style ribs, seriously addictive with that sweet-savory marinade vibe. Shoutout to Daniel Matheny from BYO Meat for the awesome free cooking experience he runs nearby on Saturdays! I brought my haul over, and Daniel worked his magic grilling and smoking everything to perfection. The wings came out crispy and juicy, the shrimp had that nice char, the Denver steak was melt-in-your-mouth, and the Korean ribs? Insanely delicious with that smoky edge. He really knows how to elevate top-notch meats like these, huge thanks for the delicious job and the fun community vibe! They usually if not always have great avocados, for the huacamole, also their abandera red salsa is great. Not super hot just hot and great favor.”

“If you’re looking for fresh baked goods, fresh produce, and the most amazing meat selection you should come here. Very friendly staffed and I’m told that it’s a family owned business. The girl at the register, Basak, was very friendly and helped me find an item that I couldn’t find.”
“Ordered a 14lb brisket and had my son in law do a low and slow smoke and I gotta say well worth the money. The guys behind the counter are super nice and helpful. Remember cash only but well worth it!”
“I'm sure it's been said before, but this is not the regular Costco. This place carries different items or the same items in different packaging. No clothes, no gas, no food court. Just serious business shopping.
Set up more for retail shops and offices, you'll find truly bulk items in everything. Meats, cheese, Sodas, seafood, vegetables... large packages. That doesn't mean you can't use it at home. Just keep on mind that some items don't come in boxes of cans, it may be in 120oz cans such at tomato sauce or olives. Or you may find 30 lbs of shrimp.
Keep an eye on the coupons in your mailer. They will sometimes list fantastic deals on somethings. 65 taquitos for $9!! Feeds a party easily.”
“Outstanding meat quality. The Carne Asada without the pre marinated is great. No fat and I most definitely recommend this Butcher place. It is very expensive, I will pay it for the quality. The other places are very poor quality more quantity than quality.”
“Good hot food, burritos are my go to. Only difference is the burritos came with more ingredients like avocado, sour cream etc.. it also came with chips on the side.. now it's just a burrito with meat, cheese, rice, and beans, still good just not the same. Please bring back the side of chips and atleast the avocado in the burritos..”
“I LOVE this market! It is a half hr from me but we make a trip every so often because it is just the best. The owner is truly a kind and wonderful person who is so passionate about sharing his cultural cuisine! Fear not if you have no idea what you are looking for going in, he will not make you feel dumb or belittle you. He will help you find exactly what you need and give you all kinds of recommendations. Every time we go I come out with something new to try and it is always so good. Plus, he stocks some delightful treats in there as well, like hard to find milka bars. His meat selection is brilliant, it is all raised on his farm! So you know that you are getting the freshest of the fresh and that it is a lot more ethically raised than factory farms. This market is such a gem and I am so thankful for it! Go check it out!”

“This local butcher shop is small but mighty! Besides enjoying their beef/chicken asadas, I've really been blown away by their beef cuts. Fresh produce sometimes available such as avocados which were very good too! After reading reviews I will ask about getting a turkey for November this year. Price is fair for the high quality/service. Can't wait to grill up more stuff!!”

Everyone else is amazing and helpful- Rosa a manager is always so nice and helpful l. Eva is an overall gem and asset to the company - Alex is amazing in CS and Alicia at the checker!! They make the AMAZON experience pleasant. “We had been buying at Vua Kho Bo all the times but this time we decide to give 168 a try because the service at the other place gotten worse; they really dont respect their clients at all. “I’m so happy to find a small, local meat market! It doesn’t look fancy, but the shop is clean and the service is quick. The prices are lower than your average, chain grocery store, and they have a good variety of meats that are nice quality. It’s a good option if you want meats in Asian marinades, and they have steaks as well. If you’re looking to make a big purchase of something specific for a party, I would call in advance to reserve an order, though.”
