“Update:Right, George thank you for being a standup guy and making things right! George was able to help and locate the rods and materials that I had provided and corrected the mistake. Sourcing those NLA parts weren't easy and it was a stressful moment. So trust this shop and I would say shops like this are getting harder and harder to come by. Ya, I did not ask for a copy of the work order but what rose from the experience was trust still exist...doing business the ole school way like way way way back...Original Review:What a bummer, I took a set of rods in for services and provided 8 rod bolts as replacement for the old ones. The deal was to press in those new rod bolts, new bushings, resizing the big ends, and balancing. So I went pick them up today, came home and found out they weren't the ones that I had sent in. One rod had a bit of pitting on the bearing surface, and what worst was they did not use the rod bolts that I had gave them. Those were some special rod bolts that I had ordered from UK, and totally $120. I hope they did not lose them and will do what's right...what is happening to pride and workmanship and delivering promises? I knew I could had bought a new set of rods for less but thought why not giving work to a local business. May be this local business didn't need work as it took 2 months to turn these around...what is going on here as this should be a 5 stars shop?”

“I was referred to Adam by Bob of Bob's Auto Repair. Bob has worked on a couple of my cars over the years, and began servicing my 65 Mustang. While driving the Mustang, I was in a major accident on the 405. The gears locked up, and I spun out and slammed into a concrete divider on the freeway. The car experienced extensive damage, and was all but totaled. My first call, of course, was to Bob to get him to arrange a tow for me to his shop. While at his shop, I asked him if he knew anyone he'd recommend to repair the body damage, etc., thinking the car might not be salvageable. Without hesitation, Bob recommended Adam, who drove right over to look at the car. I told him I didn't know if it could be saved, and Adam assured me it could. Although the process started out a little rocky and took longer than both Adam and I had expected, primarily due to the back and forth with my insurance company, the end result was better than I could've ever expected. I'll admit I have OCD, and am super critical with details, especially when one of my cars is being repaired. If you're looking for a shop that does great work with an excellent eye for detail, I highly recommend Adam and ARS Collision. I want to thank Adam for going the extra mile and battling the insurance company on my behalf to obtain the most coverage possible.”

“After doing a lot of research, I finally zeroed in on the exact car that I wanted. Once I knew that I wanted a 2020 Aviator, I found a few dealerships in LA that had them available and started making appointments. South Bay Ford had the exact one but it was an hour drive and I decided to look closer and see what was available near my home before committing an entire afternoon. I was flexible on interior color and there were several within 5 miles of my home.I know that the market has changed in the last few years so I walked into each one knowing that it might not be the right time to purchase a car, but still hopeful! I'm not sure if it's the market or just bad luck but I walked out of every local dealership pretty disappointed. I went back to the online search and that perfect one at South Bay Ford continued to pop up. I decided that it was worth a trek and called the dealership. Within the hour, Martin had called me and set up an appointment to meet the following day. Martin was great. He had the car ready and he was knowledgable about it, answering even my most random questions. I knew that afternoon that this was going to be my next car and we started the process. I am so incredibly happy that the other local Aviators didn't work out. I got the exact one that I wanted and the best part is that I walked out feeling great about the entire process. Martin was fantastic. I was not pressured in any way. He provided the info that I needed to make the right decision and when all was said and done, I was seconds away from actually hugging him. Buying a car isn't an easy process. There are many steps involved, transferring of funds, estimates, calculations, test drives, etc. It's a lot and once you've made the decision to buy something, you can only hope that you have a salesperson that you can trust and a dealership that stands by their products. I feel very good about buying through South Bay and have even recommended them to friends and family who typically shop locally in our area. I definitely recommend this dealership and if you can, work with Martin! He's incredible and has redefined the car buying experience for me.”
