Very knowledgeable and super friendly. Picked up some marinaded pollo, which I grilled up last night. It was fantastic! I'm looking forward to picking up some outer skirts (he was out) and also trying some denver steaks. Oh, and the local beer selection was nice to see.”

Have been here multiple times and have picked up everything from their fresh rabbits, jidori chickens, and wagyu meats. I was planning to go to another carniceria in Montebello to pick up some asada for the 4th but thought hey might as well look for something in this city. I gave my bf two choices and he ended up picking this spot.I'm always on the hunt for good, tender, well seasoned (but not salty) and lean carne asada. It's hard finding a spot, I hate tough meat. We took a chance here and let me tell you their asada is hella tender! Even my bf who is picky af with his asada ate 6 pieces in one sitting. Their asada is perfectly seasoned, pull apart tender, lean and super juicy. At $17.99 def a steal of a deal for good cuts of meat.Come out and support this local mom and pop shop!”

“This place is a place I've been coming to as a kid. So many memories and it's crazy some of the workers are still there after all these years. All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. You'll find the price higher than a grocery store but I'm going to support this local business.”

“Stopped by here today since I couldn’t find a pizza place to try out. Very good Asada burrito. A lot of meat inside. Burrito comes with chips and salsa. I’ve tried on a few occasions to stop by here but the very limited parking always made me go elsewhere. Order outside and they do have a meat market inside. Friendly staff. If you plan to stop by here park as soon as you see an available spot that’s what I did because of my previous experiences. Street parking only. Dead end street along the south side. I’ll be back again for another burrito and to try something different”

“Love these carnicerías, the staff is always friendly and fast. The only reason why I'm not giving the 5 stars is because the butcher are not changing their gloves. One of the guys was cleaning and swiping and came to help me and grabbed the diesmillo with the same gloves he had just touched the broom with. Plus graving all meats with the same gloves is cross contamination.”
