“There are many gyms in the area but this club has something special. It’s clean, the environment is great and always they have coffe! The only think that I would like to recommend is to dedicate an special day for Latin people such as playing Latin Music.”

“No excuses offers a great work out and a fun atmosphere. I really look forward to going to the gym each day. Best of all I have been able to achieve my goals of loosing weight and getting back into shape after having two children.”

“I have owned a Saf-T-Gym for more than thirty years. I used it, my four children used it, and three of my grand children used it for strength training. It has seen a lot of weights in its day and it is completely sturdy and usable like the day we got it. All of my children and grand children were top athletes, some of them earning full college scholarships. Here's the problem, they all want me to leave it to them in my will. Thanks Rick for an amazing product!”

“New name, same great instructors/space.It had been a minute since I visited Healdsburg and wanted to sneak in a Barre workout at the Dailey Method, now rebranded as "The Studio." Made a reservation with Catherine, whose barre class I had enjoyed in the past. Catherine has amazing energy, both grounding and motivating to keep you focused while you push to your edge.Would recommend checking out their class packs/offers on their website - great way to uncover your summer body!”

“Owned by Lori - on 103 W. North Street Healdsburg, (open 24 hours) Motion Fitness in Healdsburg is a gym, not a fitness club. When we first came to Healdsburg, we joined the local Fitness Club with a pool and classes, child care, towel service, ($$$$$) etc. A friend who went to Motion said, if you want to focus- to work out and get fit - go to Motion, (as opposed to socializing and dealing with crowds at the pool). At motion the clientele is focused on fitness. Many are body builders and others are there to use the well-maintained equipment. I like the exercise room with mirrors and a great thick pad on floor - enables me to check my form and do a lot of ab work and stretching in a very quiet, spacious place. I like the large windows and access to weights and exercise balls. The club has different areas - one with excellent rowing machines, bikes, and other equipment that is well-maintained. Then another area has benches, more -mirrors - to check form as you're lifting. The treadmills and steps, etc. for cardio are good too. The owner researches all of the latest equipment. The clients there (members) are very polite - not a social club, but members are highly considerate and respectful. They don't dominate a machine for too long and are considerate about cleaning off equipment and giving you room. I like that vibe. I'm extremely serious about working out and being healthy - I need a gym not a health-club: there is difference--especially in price and the focus on quality equipment. (Julie)”

“I grew in Windsor, and visit my parents frequently from Dallas, and this gym continues to be a real treat for me and my wife when we stay in Healdsburg. There are not a lot of options for temporary passes, and most of the gyms in Santa Rosa are more Pilates type gyms, but this gym is a true old school weight lifting gym with great machines you cannot find at many places. The staff is always accommodating, and they genuinely care that we want to stay fit when we visit and are not concerned about gauging us for wanting to workout for the week. We love this gym.”
