Lazy Acres is a well-liked grocery store known for its wide selection of quality products and friendly staff. Customers appreciate the store’s cleanliness, organization, and pleasant atmosphere, making it a great place for shopping and lunch. The store offers a variety of fresh produce, salads, and a good hot bar, suitable for quick meals. Its housemade items, such as salsa, guacamole, sushi, zucchini loaf, and cornbread, are highly praised for their delicious taste. The seafood selection is large, with favorites like California shrimp sushi and a variety of fresh seafood options. The store also features a broad range of sweets, including brownies, cookies, pies, and ice creams like Green Girl plant-based options, McConnell’s, and Coolhaus. Organic and grass-fed meats, pasture-raised eggs, and healthy pasta from Amy’s are available, appealing to those seeking organic and wholesome options. The produce selection is extensive, with a notable focus on salads, especially the walnut, raspberry, blueberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Customers enjoy the helpful staff, with employees like Pedro and Valerie receiving special mention for their helpful and delightful service. However, some criticisms include the lack of local produce, with much of the fruit and vegetables coming from far away, which is disappointing for those wanting to support local farms. Additionally, a few customers have expressed dissatisfaction with certain staff members or specific product quality, but overall, Lazy Acres is regarded as one of the best stores in the South Bay. It is praised for its atmosphere, variety, and quality, making it a popular shopping destination for residents.
