“Nancy, Miss Ale, and Miss Jennie have all been wonderful and caring with my son, and overall we’ve had a great experience here. My son may cry some mornings about not wanting to go, but by pickup time he usually doesn’t want to leave lol, which says a lot about how comfortable and happy he is there. The only improvement I’d like to see is more consistency with posting pictures and updates on the app. There will be a week or two with great pic updates, then a week or two with little to no pictures posted. Other than that, we’ve been very happy overall.”

“BBCA is a hidden gem on the Westside. We have been sending our son here for over 1.5 years, and he has truly thrived since day one.

When he started, our son was a late talker and a very picky eater. The teachers have been absolutely amazing—loving, patient, and compassionate every step of the way. The school doesn't feel like a business; it feels like a family and a close-knit community. The staff has always been incredibly accommodating and supportive of both our son and our family.

The growth we've seen has been remarkable. After 1.5 years, he won't stop talking, knows all of his letters, can count to around 40, and has become a social, confident, and well-mannered child. The teachers do a wonderful job of encouraging kindness and empathy while also helping children learn how to express their needs and feelings in a healthy way.

The school is very clean, the facilities are modern and well maintained, and the playground is by far the largest we've seen at any preschool in the area, thanks to the church's spacious backyard.

After touring a dozen preschools in the neighborhood, we are so grateful that we found BBCA. It has been the perfect place for our son, and we fully intend to enroll our daughter here when she's old enough. We couldn't recommend this school more highly.”

“ALC Preschool has been such a special place for our child. From the start, it felt warm, welcoming, and like a true community that genuinely cares about the kids. The teachers are kind and attentive, and they take the time to understand each child and support them at their own pace.

We used to drive 45 minutes to another school, and looking back, I really wish we had found ALC sooner.

“A school at home- I had two children at Launch Pad, but now I have one because my 6yrs old graduated to kindergartner. Launch Pad feels like a school at home. I've been at their facility for almost two years and I feel like, I'm saying hello to a bigger family. All the teachers take the time to be people and understand the struggles that parents go through to keep their educated and safe, while we go to work. It is like a respectable family, therefore we treat each other with respect. My children are under special circumstances and they constantly accommodate to our needs, while prioritizing the children's education. The teachers do beautiful art work with children while teaching a,b,c's. I can't imagine how my every work day be without their help. I also trust their ethics when it comes to heath concerns. Their facility is well equip with learning tools, as well as a fruit garden where kids usually help themselves to organic fruits.”

“My daughter has been at tutor time since she was an infant. She is now two. The other day we were she was sitting on my lap talking about love, respect, and feeling safe. I asked her who makes you feel safe, who gives you hugs when you are sad or having a hard time and she said Ms. Ari. She said she also makes my hair cute! Some parents might be upset they did not say “you mama.” Not me. I know she knows how much I love and care for her. This made my mommy soul smile. It makes me happy that she feels safe attending tutor time.

Also, my daughter had a lump on her neck. Ms. Ari was doing her hair and brought it to my attention. She is fine and was checked out by her pediatrician. I bathe her daily and I did not see it. I did feel guilty for that but also very appreciative that her teacher was observant and let me know.”

She goes above and beyond, often organizing special events like petting zoos, bubble machines, gardening in the vegetable garden, cooking, yoga, and music classes, along with hosting special activities around holidays. My 4-year-old daughter, who has been here for two years, often tells me, "Miss Tracie already taught me that!" There is a real sense of community among families and most live in the Venice neigbourhood. The school does a great job bringing parents together through frequent events that make you feel connected.

The campuses are beautiful, with a strong emphasis on outdoor space.

And the food culture is the cherry on top—all kids sit at communal tables and eat the healthiest (6-8 vegetable courses!) and thoughtfully prepared meals. Its such a relief knowing your children are eating nutricious food at school - this is something that really sets the school apart.”

While we're excited to see her moving on, it's bittersweet leaving the Future Stars family behind. They've gotten us through a pandemic with two working parents and a tiny baby, then a second kid and all the chaos that brings. Through it all the teachers and staff (led by Ms. Sarah and Ms. Celeste) have been awesome. The kids are loved and cared for, and we truly feel part of the extended Future Stars family. “Savoir Faire was an incredible daycare for our child, who started in the infant classroom at 5 months and continued through the toddler program until turning 2. The teachers (maestras) are so caring and kind. We felt extremely comfortable every day dropping our baby off. They communicate well with parents and the school is safe and very clean. Had we not moved away from the area, we would still be taking our child there today! Savoir Faire has something special... they've set a very high bar for childcare. We loved the Spanish immersion, which felt like an added bonus on top of what is just a genuinely great daycare and preschool program.”
