“We had our first class today and I can say my toddlers enjoyed it a lot , the teacher was super welcoming , caring , friendly ,she has a great and perfect attitude, they teach accordingly to age , the building is big and has a lot of rooms , costumer service is perfect , so far as a mom I love it , and I register both of my kids today for the school year looking forward to register my older boy on music lessons , so far for me this is a 4 stars place because we been there just for one day Definitely I will update my review after a few months , the only thing I noticed is that the paint on the walls In their classrooms looks dirty there are some stains but maybe this doesn't bother other parents maybe just me , and I think would be great if the the room for toddlers look more kid friendly lol , my baby girl was nervous and scared and started cry when she walk in the classroom , maybe some ballet decorations for kids will be perfect to make them feel more attracted and safe to their classroom, but anyway I register them based on my first day I think would be a great experience for my kids.”

“My granddaughter goes to this DayCare. We have not had any issues. Actually only issue is they keep asking for diapers and wipes when we've given them packs of them two weeks prior. But if you keep track like we do all you have to do is remind them. Teachers are great and our baby seems to love them which is important.”

“We decided to enroll our daughter for her first Pre-K experience at Ocean View Preschool. The teachers here really do care about each child, and it shows. The quality of education is very hands on, play based and super educational. Our daughter has improved significantly in her vocabulary, and on her social skills with other kiddos. We are sad to leave Ocean View Preschool as we are moving out state. Nevertheless, our family is super thankful to the teachers and staff for being part of our daughter's first learning experience. “We started in Jan. 2023 and we LOVE it here at BBCA. Such a welcoming, warm family of staff and teachers and students. They play, teach you all about kindness, being gentle, respectful, independent and confident. You learn to express your feelings, your concerns, your wants and your needs, and celebrate your accomplishments along the way. My child gained skills beyond all my expectations and she just thrives here. They help students cope, they guide parents, they offer lessons beyond the classroom settings for all the kiddos. My little one has grown so much here and we love all the families who come as well. This is the true gem in west side and I hope more would get to experience it. See photos for some ideas. “St John's Preschool has been such a wonderful experience for our daughter. She had wonderful teachers, made amazing friendships and loves the playground, which has different "yards". There is a huge sand box, bike yard, and new playground. I love her getting so much outdoor play and interacting with nature in the playground, along with tons of fun projects, art and learning. It's such a great place and our second daughter will be attending soon. All the parents have been really great as well. We made a lot of lifelong friendships at St John's Preschool. I highly recommend the school!”

“My 3 year old daughter and 7 month old son attended this daycare and we all had the best experience! My daughter was there since 2020 and my son started 2023. My daughter always looked forward to coming to school and learned so much. All the teachers are so caring and involved in such great ways. I was sad to leave this school since we moved out of state, but for anyone in the South Bay- I highly highly recommend this school/daycare! Elaine, Aurora, and Rachel are also so great as management and always are happy to see the kids and parents. Than you children’s journey :) We will miss you!”

“My son has been at BB4 since he was 8 weeks old and I am so incredibly grateful for all of the teachers and staff. I've never seen such a group of incredibly kind, genuine, intelligent people in one organization. They dealt with the pandemic with strength, professionalism, communication and transparency and we wouldn't have felt safe bring our son anywhere else! “My child has been attending for about 6 months now and he has done so well here and he really enjoys his teachers here, it is always clean and well organized as well, and have helped immensely with potty training too. They have great programs and spend a good amount of time outside as well. They close at 5:30pm and my only wish was they were open a bit later or had an extended hour option for nights when you need to work late.”

All staff fingerprinted and background check, not to mention the infant staff has the most calmest demeanor, it's reassuring to know your child is in good hands. The communication with the app and from the staff makes me know they pay attention to detail in every student. Also, the sense of community and newsletters with activities makes a very welcoming environment.”

“Hidden gem of North Torrance. Affordable, God-centered, clean, and patient staff. We've gone from many fancy preschools in the beach cities to here and have been the happiest here. Feels like we're finally getting our tuition's worth. The staff is loving, patient, and low-key, at least under the direction of Shireen the director. Both of my kids have flourished here. Small class size for the youngest class , additional add-ins such as soccer, ballet, ninja class, etc., lots of picture days, holiday celebrations, parent involvement, weekly chapel, the works. All for half the price tag of the aforementioned fancy schools (both daycare centers and home daycares). AFAIK, there is a weekly curriculum that's sent to parents through Brightwheel app that is followed. My kids are on pace to be kinder ready. And menus for the daily lunches that's included. The teachers all have been there for many many years so it feels like a family/community. They're also the after school care option for Yukon Elementary next door.”

“My Son is 3 and has been attending here since December 2022. He absolutely loves the school and has a great bond with each of the teachers, as well as the children. It is a very special community and a lovely space. The property itself is a California Craftsman cottage which is kitted out like a dream play house for little people. The outdoor areas have lots to keep the children engaged. Including a terrapin called Downtown, and a nearly 100 year old Tortoise called Freddie. There are birds in the house, so the children get to learn about caring for animal friends. Each week I am given artwork which my son has created, in keeping with seasonal and holiday happenings. The staff here are kind, nurturing and patient. They are clearly invested in the children. I feel like my family are in very good hands here.”

“Fusion Academy Manhattan Beach has been an amazing experience for our son. He is a smart and hard working kid but for some reason a large public high school didn't work for him so he switched to Fusion Academy Manhattan Beach in his Sophomore year of high school and is now in his junior year. There are so many positives to share. The one-on-one teaching is excellent. The quality of the teachers is very high but my son is also understanding the school work so much more as he is able to ask questions right away but at the same time there is no place to hide in the class. The teachers are also very supportive, they want you to understand the work and it feels more like a partnership. There are also more course options available, which given my sons interest in computing, he has been able to take classes like Cybersecurity in addition to the usual AP computer classes, and is planning on taking Animation in his final year. The school is also very flexible as there has been times he has had to move classes around or reschedule classes due to things like illness, and it has been very easy to do that. What we have really learned as a family is that there are many school options available to your kids, and if you find the right one, like we have for our son, it can really change them in a positive way.”

“I am blown away by how wonderful the Mandarin Immersion program is at our school. My daughter has an IEP and Broadway has been nothing but supportive from day one. While I was waiting for her BII to be official, the principal granted my daughter her resource specialist to me for 5 months!!! Our school is outstanding because of the communication and efforts of parents and teachers. We raised $409,000 last year because our parents rock it. It feels like a private school. That being said, it requires parents to be highly involved with fundraising and volunteering. That's what funds all of our TAs and thensome. I thank my lucky stars every day my daughter attends this school.”

“My child is at launch pad learning and I must say out of all the daycares/preschools I could find, it checked off the majority of my boxes.- educational curriculum/no TVs- adequate outdoor time- diversity in students and staff- roomy, open classrooms- app to see daily activity and updates- positive ratings/reviews- hours - optional early drop off and late pickups- competitive tuition rates and assistance available- meals wasn’t even on my list but they provide those tooIt’s a lovely environment for the littles. All of the teachers are very kind, sweet, patient and always acknowledge my child by name - even those who aren’t the primary providers. Glad we found it. My child was already communicating quite well before starting so I’m excited to see how much he’ll develop as time goes on. He’s certainly improved socially, with his utensil skills, and his enunciation.”

“We absolutely love The Village preschool!Not only do we feel completely comfortable and safe with our kids here during the day, but the kids are excited to see their teachers and friends everyday when we arrive and they have learned so much.
