“We were warmly greeted upon arrival. They serve delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. You must give it a try. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. They play light music in the background. The dishes are flavorful. The waiter was attentive. The owner checked in with us and thanked us for eating at his restaurant. “I loved how unpretentious but knowledgeable the staff are. we asked if they sold wine by the glass, they didn't but said we could buy a bottle and enjoy it there. They were also open to allowing outside food there- we had such a nice little afternoon in the wine shop and everyone working there is so nice, especially the female whose little kid pic is on the employee of the month wall I forgot your name but you are awesome!”

“This Market an amazing jewel of the community. The husband & wife/owners are always helping small vendors by directly carrying their products &/or by allowing them to do pop-up's outside the market. They carry locally crafted organic chorizo, longaniza, organic blue corn & flour tortillas, salsas & a bunch of other goodies. “fyi to anybody planning on coming here the beer list is on the smaller side and the beer percentage is also on the lower side. i think the highest percent i saw was a 6% which in no way is a bad thing or a knock to them but we were looking for more options and stronger ones. other than that, the service was great and the waitress was very attentive. i'd visit in the future to try some of the food i saw on the menu which seems like this place is more of a date night so i'd be sure to visit under different circumstances. i'd also note that the restroom was extremely clean. lastly, the beer was good and there was really no complaints about this brewery.”

“Honestly I love this place! I work for a group or attorneys in DTLA nad whenever they want to arrange a gift, I instantly suggest wine/spirits and this is my go to. I recently had to find 3 bottles of a certain Brunello di Montalcino 2016 for an attorney who just returned from that region of Italy and wanted to gift it out. After searching online for a while I decided to just check here in person -THIS PLACE HAD IT. The staff is very nice and laid back and it's tucked away in a cool food court area.”

“What an absolutely wonderful wine place to accidentally stumble upon while getting my morning coffee. James was the name of the gentleman who helped me and really took his time explaining the shop and it’s history and nearly all of the wines in stock one by one. I ended up, leaving with four separate bottles, all new to me, and I am very excited to try them. This place is approachable and well laid out and I will make sure that I visit anytime that I’m in the area. I highly recommend just popping in for a look and maybe a quick sip of wine.”

“I was looking for a wine store around my office and I found this place. Went in the store and Bernard was such a wonderful person. He helped me and suggested a good wine for gift. Affordable and elegant wines. I bought 4 red wines. He even prepared it for me and walked me in the office to carry it all. I will definitely come back here to buy more wines/ spirits. “I was shocked when i walked in and looked at all the wine and liquor varieties in the store.Really great selection. I was able find my favorite chips and iced tea. It was a hot day so the snickers and protein bar ended up in my freezer at home.Since the Wishy-washy Laundromat is right down the street it was very convenient!”

“Specialty grocers are my achilles--I will never not pop my head in and have a mooch around. I challenge anyone to walk into The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills and not buy something. Gage was the lovely cheesemonger who assisted me at the counter. When it came to be my turn I simply asked "what are you most excited about in the shop right now." He then went and collected four cheeses and talked me through each one--where it's from, what makes it unique, the ingredients, etc. This way when I was tasting each cheese--yes, he gave me samples of all of them--I could pick up on more of the nuances than if I had just grabbed them off the shelf. After chatting with Gage I ended up taking home four cheese, three of which I've never heard of. I could not recommend this approach more when heading into the shop. Relinquish control and let the experts do their thing! They can also help you with accoutrements to pair with your cheeses and meats. These are the kinds of businesses we need to champion and keep alive. I'm so excited for my next visit to The Cheese Store.”

“The quality of the steak are amazing. This is the second time that I went back for a ribeye, and it did not disappoint. As seen in the picture I also got Australian Wagyu, delicious! Finally I have found my meat dealer ?! I have been searching for a butcher that has good quality meat. Look no further this is it and don’t look at the price you are getting a great quality steak!!!”

“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”
