Jasmine designed a ring for my aquamarine years ago and every time I wear it I get compliments. Well every piece I have purchased or had them redo, I have received compliments. For the beautiful pieces that has been purchased the beauty far exceeded what I expected. The quality of the gems, the attention to detail and the sincere desire to produce what you are looking for that is unique is a rare find in a jewelry store. That is probably why they have been around for over 25 years. If you are looking for something unique and special SIMONE AND SON is your jeweler and will become your jeweler for life. You are probably wondering why I am doing this review now. It is because I realized that I have never put one when they truly deserve one. I was in yelp for something and saw their store and said to myself why haven't I ever put a review. Well here it is. Check them out you won't be disappointed. “The service here is amazing. I have an old necklace that was my grandfathers that I wear and I accidentally caught it on a grocery cart and broke it. I was heartbroken, and wasn't sure if it could be repaired. I just moved to Huntington Beach and had driven by Isabella's Fine Jewelry so I decided to take it in. George was really nice and said it could be fixed no problem. I few days later I picked it up and I'm so happy, they fixed the necklace and can't even tell where the repair was done and the price was fair. George was amazing!! I will definitely be coming here for all my jewelry needs.”

I wanted to have a necklace w/pendant custom made to give my best friend as a remembrance to her sister, who passed away recently. Gabriel and his wife Lauren were exceptionally nice and Gabriel showed me what my options were for everything and made some great suggestions to replace some of the stones that were missing from one of my pieces. LONG VERSION: My fiancé and I had the best experience at Princess Bride Diamonds, and Nikki is an absolute dream to work with! She truly made this experience feel so special, and she was so sweet and patient with me. Admittedly, I was indecisive and second guessed myself a lot, but she was always there to help me figure things out, answer all my questions, and reassure me. I didn't at all feel judged or pressured, which had been our experience at other places prior to PBD. They even have moissanite, and fancy cuts like hearts! You could trust that if they don't have what you want, they will source the best in quality and price. Additionally, they have a lifetime warranty and offer recommendations for 2 different types of insurance; which I think affirms trust that they genuinely care about their customers, and they take pride in what they create and stand by the quality of their pieces and customer experience.”

“Great place! I needed a few small gem/crystal chunks to repair a very old bracelet. Not a big purchase, but they were amazing! Cheerfully walked me around the shop helped me dig through bins of lovely stones. Didn't have the wire I needed, but advised me what exact gauge to get, and which stores would have it in stock, and wrote it down for me. Terrific! Great price for my little gems.”

“I sold a diamond through these guys, and I was happy with the experience.It's a quirky shop of duck-print wallpaper and 1980s carpet in a strip shopping center, but with a friendly, if unhurried, owner. You have to call ahead and make an appointment (and prepare to wait for other people ahead of you once you arrive anyway).I stopped in and didn't expect much. But the owner mentioned he has relationships with local jewelers and other diamond buyers. He took a quick look at my diamond ring and told me he'd let me know if he found anyone interested.Sure enough, several days later he called me, accurately "guessed" the [low end of the] range I was being offered from other reputable places, and mentioned he thought he could beat it.A few days after that, he had found a potential buyer. He arranged for the buyer and me to both come in an hour later, and asked me to bring in the diamond's certificate and the independent insurance appraisal doc I had from years before.I dropped off the ring and left for a bit while he negotiated with the buyer (a "friend" of few words who came with a loupe and jeweler tools). When I returned, the owner offered me a price that was a bit higher than the highest I'd received at various diamond exchange/buyer storefronts, and we did the transaction in cash. I don't know what kind of commission/fee/upcharge he took from the buyer (the owner wouldn't tell me when I asked), but given my other offers, I was content with it and accepted the offer without negotiating (I'm not sure what would've happened if I did, but I didn't have much leverage to push for more).Recommendation: always get multiple offers from traditional places, but put Jon from ACE on the list to see if he can do better with a third party.”

“I'm really surprised at some of the bad reviews about HB Loft. This is my hometown store, so I shop here quite a bit. Most of the ladies that work here are very nice, greeting me as I come in and taking my try ons to the fitting room. A special shout out to sales person Anna who always is helpful and cheery. She is all about customer service and going out of her way to find sizes for me. The store is always clean, bright and very organized. The sales staff is hard at work whenever I'm shopping in the store. I will continue to shop here because I like the clothes and also for the fact its a nice shopping experience.”
