“What an amazing experience!!! We got to make our own perfume. We chose to do the bigger bottle 50 ML we got to pick our top basin middle it was such a calming sweet experience. We went for a birthday and they even surprised the birthday girl with a cake and a sweet take-home gift in addition to the perfume. “I was in CA for a few days, and wandered into Stacey's store. I ended up buying a bracelet that I fell in love with. Three days later, when I was in the airport returning home, the bracelet fell off my wrist, as some of the links came undone. I tried to fix it myself, but couldn't, and I messaged Stacey, She had me send it back to be fixed or replaced. She didn't argue or tell me "tough luck." Stacey was friendly, generous, and responded to me right away. If I lived anywhere near Newport Beach, I would shop there all the time! Thank you, Stacey. “I’ve always had a fondness for growing a collection. It always seemed to satisfy a desire to find a worthy interest and following it through to where it wanted to go. As a person who works on Balboa Island regularly, I couldn’t help recognizing the street names and how they all were attributed to precious stones. Myself, not being one to wear jewelry, or even own any didn’t turn away from the idea that I could turn my work environment into a piece of art or at the very least entertain myself with a new hobby. One day while I was working on Marine Ave, and I asked my friends at Balboa Island Jewelers about a quest I wanted to embark on. I told them I wanted to obtain as many stones as I could based on the streets on the Island. No rings, bracelets, earrings or necklaces. Just stones. “they did not hesitate to refer me to the OC gem fair that happens sporadically at the OC fair grounds. When I went, I was overwhelmed but I quickly found the vendors I was looking for. I secured a pair of Turqooiuse, Topaz, Garnet and Opal Stones, as well as a beautiful tiny sapphire. The pairs were bought because I wanted to give my mom an equal part of the collection I am building. She unfortunately lost the majority of her collection to an in house theft and it left her disheartened by the hobby of collecting. She still maintains a Ruby and Emerald but… Nevertheless, the first trip to the Gem fair yielded a pair (one for me one for her) of Garnet Topaz Turqouise and Opal along with a single tiny Sapphire. I was so excited about my purchases that I went to show them off to Balboa Island Jewelers who recommended the fair to me in the first place. What I found was people who were genuinely excited and happy for me to start my collection. They understood what my personal goals were and encouraged me to follow through with them. In fact, they gifted me a stone from a street I had not yet collected. I can’t say enough about Balboa Island Jewelry. I am not a person they should ever have to deal with in my job but because of their friendliness and free customer service I have to use my influence to say that you can rely on Balboa Island Jewelers for your information.”

We went in to design a custom ring, and Rama seamlessly worked with their designer using our inspiration photos to make it happen. Being able to see a 3D model of the ring and tweak it before the final build was an awesome experience. Rama was also incredibly transparent about the turnaround time from day one, and she even brought in multiple sizes of Alexandrite so we could compare them in person. A well-deserved 5 stars for Rama and the Brax team!”
