“Last night, I was covering Dorcas’s quinceañera as the event photographer at this venue, and I truly want to give it five stars because it is an excellent place. The venue is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained, and the entire team genuinely works hard to provide great service.

A special thank you to the manager, Olga, who supported me the whole time. Whenever I needed the lights turned off or on for photography, she helped immediately. She also allowed us to arrive early and enter the ballroom ahead of time without any issues. At many venues, it can be difficult—they delay turning lights on or won’t allow early access—but here everything was smooth and professional.

The waitresses were wonderful as well. When I asked for food, they brought it with a smile and no hesitation, and even checked to make sure we had eaten. Security was also very friendly and allowed guests to come in and out without any problems.

Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this venue for any special event.”

“This was my second visit to the PECLA and I had just as much fun, if not even more, the second time around. If you like driving and you love Porsches, you must to experience it yourself. My instructor, Cam, did a great job of coaching and improving my driving, but more importantly, made the occasion a total blast.”

“If you're looking for an enchanted garden venue, look no further than The Secret House of Ivy in Downey, Ca. You can drive by this place over and over and you'd never know what a beautiful place lies just behind the doors. Pictures absolutely do not do this place justice. The moment we walked in we fell in love. It's gorgeous. The twinkling lights and the Ivy covered walls transports you out of Downey into a little wonderland. We are beyond excited to host our daughter's quinceañera here and my husband and I definitely hope to have a vow renewal there in the future too. Karina, Luisa and Lily have been so helpful every step of the way in helping get all the ducks in a row to give our teen the perfect enchanted garden quince. I'm so glad we found this venue.”

“I came here for a small community theater performance and was impressed by the setup. The space is well-maintained and feels much nicer than you’d expect for local productions. Parking was free and easy, which is always a win in LA County. They also host art exhibits and cultural festivals throughout the year. It’s a great reminder that Torrance has more going on than just shopping plazas”

“A hidden gem!! The drive to the location was pretty colorful to say the least, but once inside you will be pleased! There is a very open and spacious outside courtyard, and also on-site parking. The inside was also spacious and contained a very large open event space and a stage, with an elevated loft that looks out over the space. This is a great space!!”

“I gave it a 4 star because of the greeter Kevin, he didn’t welcome us or say hello. When completing the waiver I had a question and he just waived his hand. He was just rude, not even a smile. This was our 1st time here and he made me feel like I was a bother.”

“Lai Lai is such a FIND. The ballroom is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The rotation of instructors is incredibly experienced, each bringing their own strengths in style and technique. It's a sweet, welcoming community. I highly recommend Lai Lai if you want to learn ballroom from the best.”

“Apex Studios was very welcoming and efficient to work with. The rooftop allowed for amazing images in our publication (V Magazine), and their studio manager and team was very easy to work with. We always look forward to returning to this studio when we have projects happening in Los Angeles. Within the past year, we shot one of our cover shoots here, as well as another editorial. I chose amber sky and believe me it was such a wonderful experience of height motion distance actual but virtual reality and the happiness of fighting the aliens ..yess you can use a super special gun too. “A round of applause to Martha and the entire Fiesta Mexica Banquet Hall team! We hosted a Quinceanera and the experience was amazing!

Not only was Martha extremely helpful in guiding us through the venue process, she also has a list of vendors that work with the Hall, everything from Make-up to photography.

The day of the event, the Banquet Manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. He (I forget his name) made sure the food was on time, the toast came out on time, and helped the photographer with the video display. Additionally, if you do not have a DJ, or you are in between your personal DJ or the Hall DJ, go with the Hall DJ (Victor).

Victor the DJ read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He was also extremely helpful with presenting the court and playing the correct music, at the correct time during the waltz and surprise dance, LOL. IYKYK!

“Charming Victorian house turned B\&B with beautiful period decor. Each room has its own vibe — I stayed in the Rose Room with a clawfoot tub. The breakfast was homemade and better than most cafés. Hosts were warm and attentive but never intrusive. Peaceful, historic neighborhood. A total gem if you like unique stays”

“Visiting from Australia, as a relative beginner in the game, Ace made the experience. He is very charismatic, and incredibly knowledgeable. The Lounge itself, is incredibly beautiful. Although, the cigar selection was limited, which may be why it was empty on a Saturday night.”

“As a Los Angeles wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing a ceremony at this incredible church — and it was such a memorable experience. The space is LGBTQ+ friendly, warm, and welcoming to all couples, which makes it even more special.

The church itself is stunning, with beautiful gothic architecture, tall arches, and elegant details that give every photo a timeless look. The light inside is soft and atmospheric, creating a perfect mood for wedding ceremonies. For professional photographers, I’d recommend bringing some additional external lighting, especially near the front section of the church, where natural light can be limited.

Couples should keep in mind that the time allowed for photography inside is limited, since the venue charges per hour spent there. In my case, we didn’t have much extra time for portraits inside, but we still captured some incredible moments before heading outdoors.

Overall, I truly enjoyed shooting here — it’s a one-of-a-kind location that blends classic architecture with inclusivity and heart. Highly recommend it for couples looking for a Los Angeles church wedding venue that’s both elegant and welcoming.

“The Pantages is a beautiful venue. I am disabled and need to use a walker at this time, so I was very happy that the parking was close and easy to find. They also had several accommodations for disabled people, which was refreshing to find. In addition, I think you can see well no matter where you are sitting. The only negatives are the lines are long for the women’s bathrooms and to buy refreshments during the intermission. That happens wherever you go, unfortunately. If you haven’t been to the Pantages, I highly recommend it. It has that old Hollywood beauty.”

“Legacy lounge is a really chill and laid back hookah lounge with nice drink selection and good hookah. They have events which make the place tighter especially Saturdays but it’s now my favorite hookah lounge in LA when I’m out alone. Nice RnB and Soultry music. $30-$35 hookah is not a bad price either.”

“THESE CLUB OWNERS ARE NOT RACIST!! I have had my show here for the last 4 years. John and Scarlett have never ever displayed any type of racism towards me as a black man. In fact, it's been completely opposite. They have embraced me as family. So I read a review of someone saying they were racist and honestly it affected me personally. It bothers me when someone gives a label on racism when it does not apply here. I've seen racism, I know what racist people do and How they Act And John and Scarlett The owners of the The StandUp Comedy Club DO NOT fit that description. Again, I have been here four years And I haven't seen nothing close to racism.. I've seen ignorant people trying to get free stuff and run out on their bill without paying, And when it doesn't go their way People are quick to pull The Race card. “We had the great pleasure of having our wedding at The Revery, and it was beyond perfect. The warehouse vibe and mix of large indoor and outdoor spaces allowed us to get really creative with our plans. The way the sun hits is truly magnificent and makes for amazing photos, but is even better in person. Also, working with Monica was a joy. She’s extremely helpful and responsive, and was keen on helping in all the specifics of our wedding. If an open, blank canvas style space is the vibe you're after whether a wedding or photo shoot or other event, definitely check out The Revery.”

“A spectacular venue! The host, Mr. Cordoba, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the night--and I had not expected him to be as involved since technically I was the one buying/responsible for the space--so it came as a very pleasant and helpful surprise. There were many tables available as well as chairs, and the space is set up perfectly for a small, medium, or even large-sized event. I also ended up renting a tent, and it offered a great covering for the outdoor space at the back of the venue where we kept food and played games. The speaker system was great too. I ran out of music halfway through the night, so the host also provided some of his own, which was nice. There was a designated bar space which everyone loved as well. Parking is readily available and easily accessible. And all of this comes at an EXTREMELY affordable price. I would happily recommend the space to anyone interested, and I would also love to host another event here at some point!”

“This venue is very easy to walk in and out of. Getting in was a breeze. Finding our seats was also easy. Parking was easy because we purchased parking ahead of time. Getting to this area is the challenge. Wherever you are coming from in Southern California, leave EARLY! We came from the I.E. Waze told us that we would arrive in 1.5 hours. Not true. Since you get into the Los Angeles area there is traffic. LOTS OF TRAFFIC! Getting off the freeway took a long time. Once the event was over getting out of the parking structure took well over an hour.”

“The first time I went to see the little mermaid last year. I kept the beautiful bucket of which I put popcorn in. I love the movie as much as I love the detail of the theater in the more time it has gone to becoming the respectable long lasting memeoris that havent be able to share their story. The staff that was there was always helpful and very professional with how they address the guest and the instructions on the tickets was instructed to follow as directed of to be escorted from the building. With all the carful time it took to prepare every single day. I would be happy to have be aprt of this city as much as I would take the time to work for every single job career volunteering and participating in every event just to be able to have had the traditional value that is being the greatest city in the country to the rest of the world. “We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the East Angel on October 5, 2024. I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, it was the BEST venue for the type of wedding we wanted. The space needed to be cute on its own but also have a totally customizable feel - and the East Angel was just that! Our handmade colorful decor mixed so well with the furnishings/details already at the venue. We also knew we wanted a space where guests couldn’t splinter off into different rooms (like a hotel). The goal was to keep everyone together in a space that felt intimate - but was actually very spacious! We had around 205 seated guests and brought in a good-sized dance floor and it didn’t feel crowded or cramped at all!
Working with Kirsty was so much fun - she was very open to our ideas and excited to help us see them out. She also had fantastic vendor suggestions and guided us to a brilliant wedding coordinator. Between Kirsty and our coordinator, we felt SO taken care of and were able to let loose and have a total blast on our wedding day!! I’m a fairly cynical person but it honestly was one of the best days of our lives. The energy and vibes were immaculate and the warm, welcoming space at the East Angel is largely responsible for that! Cannot recommend them enough!!”

“A genuine hidden gem in Los Angeles. When you go into the building, you are met by stunning art deco, speakeasy, and forties vibes. I was astonished by how big the building is once inside. “We just seen the Wizard of OZ I must say hands down the most innovative and creative way to display a play and the use of each scene was amazing a standing ovation is due the a very diverse cast even the humorous parts added in. My favorite part was how they literally made a tornado and had the property of a house floating on stage. Thank you”
