“A hidden gem!! The drive to the location was pretty colorful to say the least, but once inside you will be pleased! There is a very open and spacious outside courtyard, and also on-site parking. The inside was also spacious and contained a very large open event space and a stage, with an elevated loft that looks out over the space. This is a great space!!”
“Apex Studios was very welcoming and efficient to work with. The rooftop allowed for amazing images in our publication (V Magazine), and their studio manager and team was very easy to work with. We always look forward to returning to this studio when we have projects happening in Los Angeles. Within the past year, we shot one of our cover shoots here, as well as another editorial. Both the crews and celebrity talent enjoyed using this space.”
“We got married at SmogShoppe in October, and it was truly the perfect venue. The space is stunning and unique, with a beautiful mix of greenery and modern industrial vibes. The team was extremely easy to work with and had great vendor recommendations. Our guests are still talking about how memorable the space was. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate, and would highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding!”

“I recently had my baby shower at Fiesta Mexicana Banquet Hall, and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was great, the atmosphere was incredible from the decorations to the bar. Everyone was kind and so helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone they also have their own restaurant and bakery next door. Very convenient location in general they have security and their house DJ. Perfect for any event they also have restrooms and changing tables for your littles.”
“Visiting from Australia, as a relative beginner in the game, Ace made the experience. He is very charismatic, and incredibly knowledgeable. The Lounge itself, is incredibly beautiful. Although, the cigar selection was limited, which may be why it was empty on a Saturday night.”
“As a Los Angeles wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing a ceremony at this incredible church — and it was such a memorable experience. The space is LGBTQ+ friendly, warm, and welcoming to all couples, which makes it even more special.
The church itself is stunning, with beautiful gothic architecture, tall arches, and elegant details that give every photo a timeless look. The light inside is soft and atmospheric, creating a perfect mood for wedding ceremonies. For professional photographers, I’d recommend bringing some additional external lighting, especially near the front section of the church, where natural light can be limited.
Couples should keep in mind that the time allowed for photography inside is limited, since the venue charges per hour spent there. In my case, we didn’t have much extra time for portraits inside, but we still captured some incredible moments before heading outdoors.
Overall, I truly enjoyed shooting here — it’s a one-of-a-kind location that blends classic architecture with inclusivity and heart. Highly recommend it for couples looking for a Los Angeles church wedding venue that’s both elegant and welcoming.

“The Pantages is a beautiful venue. I am disabled and need to use a walker at this time, so I was very happy that the parking was close and easy to find. They also had several accommodations for disabled people, which was refreshing to find. In addition, I think you can see well no matter where you are sitting. The only negatives are the lines are long for the women’s bathrooms and to buy refreshments during the intermission. That happens wherever you go, unfortunately. If you haven’t been to the Pantages, I highly recommend it. It has that old Hollywood beauty.”

“My first experience at Crenshaw Yoga and Dance was Tiffany Simone and Kenyon Dixon creating a relief event for families experiencing misplacement due to the fires. The facility, the staff all found within my community was too exciting! Immediately I know I wanted to come back and really use a studio within my neighborhood and didn’t have to go to north Hollywood or downtown for. Since the event I have run a 6 week modeling course and ballroom practices. Again the staff always so welcoming. Ms. Candice such a sweetheart and accommodating. Thank you for this space and creating something within the community. If you’re a dancer and/ or creative and need a space to express or run a class, high recommend and consider Crenshaw Yoga and Dance. Thank you all so much and I can’t wait to run the next season of Walking Girlz ?”
“Legacy lounge is a really chill and laid back hookah lounge with nice drink selection and good hookah. They have events which make the place tighter especially Saturdays but it’s now my favorite hookah lounge in LA when I’m out alone. Nice RnB and Soultry music. $30-$35 hookah is not a bad price either.”

“The Hnypt is absolutely magical… from booking to the actual event it was effortless and accommodating. Michael is the kindest and so easy to work with! The venue is stunning yet quaint and feels like home. Easy to navigate and has all you could need! The exposed brick and cement floors give a NYC Loft vibe. It’s a magical place! Would book again and again - just need family to get married or some fancy events!!!”
“The experience was great, from the music drums, Noah's Ark story telling, the pretend play; toys, pretend kitchen, animal grooming etc. There's even arts and crafts and the new garden is beautiful; sand, water, rolling boat, etc.It's beautiful!

“It was very easy to find, you can see the name blocks away, lol. I had to circle because didn't know where parking was, but overall my experience was excellent. I got checked in by security who was very courteous and nice. The receptionist was okay, and the gentleman that helped me was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. “So you’re having yet another existential crisis, and you drive to LA to join a pop-up choir in a desperate attempt to “find yourself”. The choir meets at RoseWolff Studios, which, by the way, has a killer view of the highway — a surprisingly peaceful little I-5 oasis. Great view of the skyline too.”

“This venue is very easy to walk in and out of. Getting in was a breeze. Finding our seats was also easy. Parking was easy because we purchased parking ahead of time. Getting to this area is the challenge. Wherever you are coming from in Southern California, leave EARLY! We came from the I.E. Waze told us that we would arrive in 1.5 hours. Not true. Since you get into the Los Angeles area there is traffic. LOTS OF TRAFFIC! Getting off the freeway took a long time. Once the event was over getting out of the parking structure took well over an hour.”

“Astralab is truly such a magical special space, and to be honest they are really the only reason I go to this area. Most folks know it’s not the most happening neighborhood.. but it’s exclusively Astralab’s events that have brought me to the Granada Building and exposed other businesses in the space to me. However, at the end of the day I only go here to be in community with my sweet kind family and friends at Astralab. Their night markets, fundraisers, poetry nights, and sound baths have sustained so much of social life and wellness over the past 1+ years. It’s run by good genuine people who are incredible members of the community and have helped so many people locally and overseas. It’s rare to have that kind of expansive impact and I’m so proud of them for all their relentless work. It’s a shame there are forces that are trying to make their difficult work even more difficult, but I have strong faith that whatever happens, their light will still shine and bring good vibes to wherever they are. Astralab is bigger than the building it’s in because it’s a force, an energy, a light and wherever they go the community will follow. I love you guys keep going!!!”

“Great stay! Echoing other reviewers, this place is hidden away from Hollywood Blvd by a narrow walkway. My room, chapter 6 was huge for a hotel room, with little balcony porch (shared with room next door and semi separated by two plants). Full of natural light and windows, this is my new fav in town!!”
“The first time I went to see the little mermaid last year. I kept the beautiful bucket of which I put popcorn in. I love the movie as much as I love the detail of the theater in the more time it has gone to becoming the respectable long lasting memeoris that havent be able to share their story. The staff that was there was always helpful and very professional with how they address the guest and the instructions on the tickets was instructed to follow as directed of to be escorted from the building. With all the carful time it took to prepare every single day. I would be happy to have be aprt of this city as much as I would take the time to work for every single job career volunteering and participating in every event just to be able to have had the traditional value that is being the greatest city in the country to the rest of the world. The reputation proceeds the threater.”
