Bluebird Cottage Inn offers cozy, clean, and comfortable rooms, some with a nice fireplace, a massive comfortable bed, and a spacious Jacuzzi tub. The location is excellent, close to downtown and charming towns, and just off the highway for a quick getaway. Nearby activities include trekking, wine tasting, and shopping. The kitchen is perfect and well-stocked. While some furnishings are a little aged and there can be minor maintenance issues, the service is excellent with very nice and helpful staff. The price is reasonable. Many guests highlight it as the best place to stay and plan to return.

My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and had an excellent time. The rooms were cozy, clean and fit the Idyllwild vibe. Service was wonderful and they were very friendly. The service was fantastic, the front staff desk are very accommodating and ensure guests are well taken care of. The room was exactly as anticipated and fit our needs. I also love that they had dvds you could “rent” (for free!) to watch in your room.
