“This place has become a cozy, serene, and artistically inspiringly getaway for my boyfriend and I. The 24 hr spa with tall trees surrounding, multiple outdoor picnicking and meditation spots, plus the 420 game room with the jukebox, and shuffle board. The whole vibe feels so right. Kim was extremely welcoming and helped us feel comfortable for our stay. Always thankful for the laid back kindness of the staff here. We stayed in the Mondo Trasho room this time and Third Man last time. Looking forward to experiencing some others!”

“This place is just beautiful so peaceful, the views are spectacular! Cleanest cabin and comfortable beds with everything you need for a relaxing vacation ! It's one of my families favorite places to stay in Idyllwild! The manager is so helpful, and the property is located on Strawberry Creek, a short amazing hike along the creek or a quick drive to town where you will find restaurants, shopping, and groceries. “We stayed at the Idyllwild Bunkhouse for several nights and absolutely loved it. The space is so cozy, cute, and comfortable — it truly felt like a little mountain hideaway. On the weekends they even delivered breakfast to us in a basket, which was such an adorable and thoughtful touch.

It’s hands-down the best place to stay in town: quiet, peaceful, and close enough to town to be super convenient without feeling overcrowded. There are definitely larger places to stay nearby, but those felt boring and packed — if you want somewhere with real character and charm, this is it.

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, the kitchen is a great size and fully equipped with everything you need, and the back balcony overlooking the trees was the perfect spot to relax. If you’re looking for something cute, comfortable, and special, you absolutely have to stay at the Idyllwild Bunkhouse.”

“We were greeted with a friendly welcome and absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Idyllwild Lodge! This was our 2nd time we love the atmosphere and all the amenities.”

“I had to stay here while I was having troubles with the heater in my home and I want to say that it’s one of the best places you can stay in town, especially when it comes to the beds. I have daily chronic body pain and so when I go to not just Airbnb’s, but I also go to hotels. I often have problems because the beds are older or they sag or they’re too hard.

They have the perfect foam mattress here it’s firm enough, but it’s soft enough it alleviate your body pain

Despite one other setback that happened during my state that I’m not going to bother to mention, it was everything I could’ve hoped for especially the bed

“My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and had an excellent time. The rooms were cozy, clean and fit the Idyllwild vibe. Service was wonderful and they were very friendly. Location was just a minute or two drive into town which was very convenient and there was a very pretty view. Not to mention it was a very affordable stay.”
