Most unprofessional business I’ve ever dealt with. Had a gas leak for over 6 months, two people came out and “checked” but claimed there was no leak. I ended up finding the leak myself and sent them a video. Still took 2 days after sending the video to get fixed. Then when I need gas they don’t show, no ONCE about twice. So not only does a negligent company that leaves a gas leak for 6 months they also can’t even provide there services. Expect to be stranded in the cold with no gas for weeks if you choose this company!

The customer service is atrocious as is their TWO-WEEK minimum delivery time. I came home to an empty tank during 37-degree weather. We had thought we had set up auto-refill, but apparently not. Fair enough, but when I asked for expedited delivery, given that it was the dead of winter, they said that the best they could do was a two-week window! Two weeks! Because they own the tank they would not allow me to have any other company fill it. The employee on the other end, when I asked what I should do said, "Well, you should have called before your tank was empty." That was her compassionate and caring, solution-oriented response. She was also very smug and almost seemed to take pride in telling me how long it would take them to refill the tank. Poor thing. She must be miserable. I feel for her.Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this unprofessional, and truly uncaring company. It's a wonder they are still in business.

Unfortunately customer service has declined to near zero. Lead times are 2-3 weeks and they do not CARE if you run out or switch companies. The basis of having a good company is CARING, and this company has none.

My online, phone, and delivery interactions have been great. The reason for my 3 stars is that I was promised almost a year ago to be contacted to get a remote propane tank monitor. Not sure why this hasn't happened yet, but other companies have promised this to me if I switch....and I may...

Worst customer service of any company I've ever used! Kept promising my delivery would be the next day. They said this for MONTHS! Then lied to me and said it was delivered - IT NEVER CAME. After threatening a lawsuit, they realized their mistake. Had to file with Better Business Bureau and my bank before my paymnt magically was refunded. Do not recommend.

The worst company for propane. Terrible customer service and late deliveries. Two weeks for a propane delivery. I waited two weeks and it still no delivery and no answer or callbacks. cowboy hat man doesn't understand boundaries when it comes to women. This company needs an overhaul.

This place is the absolute worst. We placed out order on January 3 and told they would not be able to bring our propane until the 17. We are all down with Covid and have been purposely not taking showers or baths. Or cooking because we are at 5%. We just called and they are still saying that they can’t get out here until the 17th. Congrats after this round we will be switching companies. I can’t believe you would let people go this long. When I first called they said due to the blizzard that you just have it will be hard for us to get to you. CALIFORNIA DOESNT HAVE BLIZZARDS!!

On October 27, 2021, I scheduled a delivery of propane and paid $456.22. My tank was currently at 30% propane left in the tank. I was told I would receive delivery on or before Nov. 8th. On Nov. 8th, I called to inquire about delivery and was told that I was on the schedule for that day (Nov.8th). When propane did not come, I called EVERY DAY after that and was told EACH TIME that I was on the schedule for that day. On Dec 1st, my tank ran dry and I ordered a new tank to be delivered and filled by another propane company. My new tank was installed Dec.5th, and the empty Ferrell propane tank is sitting in my driveway. I told Ferrell to come get their tank. As of Dec. 20, 2021, it is still in my driveway. On Dec. 8th, Ferrell issued a "refund" of $220.78, not the $456.22 that I paid. Ferrell is claiming they delivered propane to me on 11/17. I NEVER received propane from them. Worst customer service, lies & fraud. Something is not right with the way they do business.

I don’t know how anyone can actually be satisfied with the services this facility provides. I am the last person to leave a bad review but this place is absolutely out of control. It has taken them 3+weeks to come fill our propane tanks and we still haven’t seen them. Can’t call the local office because no one ever answers or returns a phone call. Finally got ahold of corporate but they weren’t much help either. They were extremely quick to take our money but that’s the only thing they have been able to do in a promptly manor. So beyond frustrated with this company. It seems like every fill up is worse and worse.

I had my house gas tank filled less than 6 weeks ago. As of 2 days ago I am out of gas, which is impossible since I was not even home for 1 of the 6 weeks. It's also impossible to run out of a full 172 gallon tank in 6 weeks. Now I can't even get a call back to have them refill it since they clearly did not fill my tank originally. I do NOT recommend this company. I'm out a couple hundred dollars & gas.

Requested a refill over a week ago before our propane ran out, it has been impossible to get someone on the phone and have been out of propane for two days. They have said they are coming to refill it twice now and still nothing. They have got to be the worst propane company

Will came by on literally last min notice on a Sunday night, when we were at 0% propane with a cabin full of girls on a very cold evening. He not only gave us enough propane for the next 4 days, scheduled a fill up for the next morning, adjusted our wall heater regulator, spent the time to teach me the ins and outs of the system and even help us with an electrical issue. He was super professional, informative and thorough. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone if you are up in the air!

New owner, moved up in the mountain, and inherited a Ferrel gas leased tank. From the first day, I could smell some gas so I called to schedule a check up. They blew me off twice, on a potential gas leak!! Promised they will be there and never showed up. The third time I called, I told them, that this is not the way to treat a new customer. If they blew me off twice while trying to get my business I can only imagine what will happen once I sign a lease. Then I decide to go with another company alltogether (SoCal from Hemet) and call them to come and pick up their tank. They told me it will cost 100+ bucks!! This was clearly preposterous. I had no contract with them, no lease no nothing and they still wanted me to pay. After doing some research I told them I will not be paying a dime, at which point they changed their story and said I should not have to. Very disappointed with their customer service and how they try to take advantage of newcomers and squeeze every single penny out us. One star for them, is one star too many!

horrible horrible horrible ordering experience. first i try to order a refill on the weekend and after not hearing from them i call on monday. big mistake. i call the 888 number on the website and the person asks why i'm calling them at that number. she connects to my local branch and i get disconnected. i try back and get through. she tells me she sees my order by doesn't know when i'll be getting my fill. seems they have a 5 dat waiting period and also a 3 day. she said call on friday. friday afternoon there is a ferrell gad truth outside my house. but not for me. for my neighbor. the driver tells me if i can get a hold of the office they can allow him to fill my tank. trying to get through was impossible. 30 minutes later i leave a message. they call back and i explain. she tells me about the 5 day and 3 day thing but also says they usually schedule people if they are close to a three day tank. she contacts the driver who is miraculously 30 miles away so they tell me they can have him come back for a charge. she also says it's scheduling. not her department. where is this great customer service. i then ask when i can expect my delivery. she say monday. so to wrap it up. my neighbor gets filled and i don't because someone in scheduling can't connect addresses. the whole experience was horrible. bad customer service when i could reach them and mostly helpless when i could reach them. i've never dealt with a company that pushes the buck around so much.

Very quick service we called to let them know we ran out of propane and they got a truck out there that morning to take care of it and when ever we call for anything they are quick to resolve our issues very promptly we are very happy with our service with Ferrellgas
