“Probably the best hospitality we’ve experienced in a motel. The Owners are very sweet and friendly. They helped us not only with directions but also provided guidance with our plan (due to fires). They also offered us homely food and snacks since there aren’t a lot of options around. The location is also ideal along highway 395. Would recommend it to anyone traveling this route.”

“We were greeted by Doug in the office. Check-in was efficient and quick. Doug directed us to our room. He explains ned that the door was open and the key inside. The room was cozy and clean. It made us understand what a small home might be like. We had a restful night with some road noise evident.”

“My husband and I usually stay at the Dow in Lone-pine. This time we are trying something new. This little motel is so quaint and cozy everything you need. We try to make it up this way once a year. We will definitely stay here again.”

“First time staying here. Jim was great to work with. He ask that you text him to make reservations. He is quick to text back and a great communicator and very friendly. Our room was ready when we arrived, clean comfortable and the heater was on. The motel is old but in great shape for its age. The bed was very firm but we both had a great night sleep. I can’t believe that it is my first time staying here after all of the years coming to the Sierras. Don’t shy away from this little gem. Also, ample parking for my truck and car trailer. Great job Jim!”
